An old factory (Rosenblatt’s factory) was modernized and adapted for the needs of an educational and office building: the head office of the Centre for International Education of the Łódź University of Technology. The renovated building was in a very bad technical condition. Due to advanced corrosion, one of the most difficult tasks was the reconstruction of external walls. The types of work that was carried out: -

earthwork, demolition work; foundation work; reinforced concrete, ceramic ceilings; brickwork; historical brick elevations linked with the system glass front; installations: o sanitary installations o electrical and teletechnical installations o ventilation and air-conditioning installations panoramic lift assembly; finishing works according to the interior arrangement project; placing equipment into the building;

The renovated building combines modern architecture with the elements of a 19th century building. The building is adjusted for the needs of the disabled. The Centre includes classrooms, computer laboratories, language laboratories, Problem Based Learning rooms and multimedia rooms. - Modernization/Renovation of the mansion which belongs to INKOM. The mansion was designed and built at the beginning of the 20th century with the use of mixed, traditional technology with reinforced concrete elements cast at the construction site. During the 70â&#x20AC;&#x2122;s the building was rebuilt to perform the hotel and recreation function. -
