LOGO
The logotype is hand-done and as unique as Nectar & Root. It is fluid and connected, and has that “slightly messy but nice look that goes along with the imperfections of the floral designs that Nectar & Root creates.
COLOR PALETTE
C: 1 M: 7 1 Y: 1 00 0 K: 7 0
C: 7 M: 1 4 Y: 4 7 K: 1 7 6
C: 3 M: 3 Y: 3 3 K: 0 5
C: 2 M: 3 5 Y: 8 6 K: 6 6
The color palette was chosen with keeping contrast in mind, as well as having something that is both vibrant and subtle for functionality purposes. Like any floral arrangement, the palette is balanced.
RALEWAY
FONT FAMILIES abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ Since the logotype is hand done, there is only one font family. The font Raleway has many different levels and can be used for both headers and body type. The font in general has good spacing and is friendly and simple enough not to distract.
BUSINESS CARDS

To stand out, the red from the color palette was used on the business card. The blue helps add an extra element and more contrast and appeal. Instead of imagery on the back, the logo is repurposed, which reinforces branding and because it is not an image, the card stands out more in the flower industry.
BROCHURE DESIGN
The brochure would enforce branding and be mostly visual, as it is supposed to be a quick introduction to the company. People respond better to visuals than a lot of text. Branding is enforced with colors, fonts, and using the logo shapes all throughout. Text is reduced and points to the website for any more information. All other packages would follow similiar design patterns.

THANK YOU CARDS
Above is the exteriors of the thank you cards, the inside would be white so that there is room to write a note. The thank you cards are simple and meant to be branded but leave room for there to be a personal touch.
FLOWER TAG
For a flower tag, there would be a simple few steps. There is a very easy tutorial which only involves on piece of paper, which you can see the ďŹ nal result of on the left. Nectar & Root would take this tutorial, change the colors to be those from the brand identity, and accompany them with the above tag and twine to leave on the flowers. It is simple, yet thoughtful and consistent with branding.
LEAVE BEHIND
Pressed flowers are easy, and only take a few extra flowers from the bouquet. It will add a personal touch because you would be thinking of them and using flowers from their wedding, which they will appreciate and want to keep around. It would be best to keep this in a glass frame like pictured above, but there are more cost effective alternatives.
