TALKS AND TOURS
Extend your visit with an informative talk from one of our expert Explainers and learn all about the science and stories of Jodrell Bank. Alternatively, opt for our popular Garden Tour that takes in the site’s beautiful gardens and arboretum. And if you can’t choose, why not do both? Talks and tours last approximately 30 minutes each, cost just £50, and are available for groups of up to 25 people (multiple bookings can be made if you have more than 25 in your group).

Available from April – September, our new Gardener’s Picnic Package offers the perfect afternoon out for groups interested in exploring the impressive gardens here at Jodrell Bank.

Jodrell Bank Discovery Centre is situated south of Manchester, in the heart of the Cheshire countryside. Take junction 18 off the M6 and follow the tourist signs straight to the entrance. For satnavs, the postcode is SK11 9DW
Access
All our buildings are fully accessible, and exhibits and displays are all on ground level. The gardens and buildings are linked with surfaced pathways and wheelchairs can be made available on request.
We also have hearing induction loops available for hearing aid users.
Looking for a full day out?
We’ve recently partnered up with our friends at the nearby Anderton Boat Lift so that groups who are looking for a full day out can visit the Boat Lift in the morning and Jodrell Bank in the afternoon.
