A PHOTOZINE BY JOE ANDERSONS
“At some point, your memories, your stories, your adventures, will be the only things you’ll have left.” -Chuck Palahniuk
This is a bunch of good memories from a two month trip
combined into a small amount of photos. Late last year, two friends and I flew to A m e r i c a for two months with only about 8 days of accommodation booked and only a very rough idea of what we were going to do and where we were going to go. Somehow in this time we traveled through 6 states, saw both coasts, hired two cars, one camper van with dragons painted on it, four buses, two flights and a ridiculous amount of walking. We also somehow managed to see Bad Brains, H20, Code Orange Kids, Self Defense Family, Underoath, Death Grips, Letlive and a whole heap of other shows. I also got to meet Pat Flynn from Have Heart fame, but that’s enough needless namedropping. I somehow managed to eat the biggest pizza I have ever seen, get blackout drunk in Brooklyn on NYE, drink Four Loko, dance with the guitarist from Iron Maiden in a dive bar, meet a lady who plays the piano in the It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia soundtrack. Not to mention days of driving through enormous amounts of snow and ice. So now I give you a set of photos that actually shows almost none of the things I just mentioned. Enjoy.
