Nursery graduation
News
On the 13 July 2016 many of the children in the preschool and toddler room reached a wonderful mile stone in their journey with us at Linden Nursery. Many of these children have been attending the nursery since they were babies and they have now reached the age where they are ready to go to school. We are so proud of each and every one of our children that we wanted to celebrate this achievement with our very own graduation ceremony. The nursery staff worked very hard to put together a wonderful afternoon filled with song, laughter, food and our very own hand made caps (the children looked beautiful). Many of the parents and staff were very emotional but the children’s wonderful performance ensured that this event, successfully celebrated the children achievements here at Linden. We wish all of the children and their parents the very best for the future and know that many of you will be popping in to see us in September to show us your new uniforms. Thank you for being part of the family here at Linden and congratulations to you all!
Sports day On Thursday 14 July we held a Sports Day for families from our Young Parents Group, Family Nurse Partnership and Family Support Team. The day was held in partnership with Stormont House School, giving their 6th Formers studying Sports qualifications a chance to get some real hands-on experience. We had a picnic on Hackney Downs and all the children had a great time running around with the various activities. All the participants were presented with a certificate and medal and everyone had a thoroughly nice day. ‘Linden and Stormont staff with the volunteer students’.
