The Path to Your Calling
Dec 24,2023
“Humbly, I ask Thee to teach me Your will While You are working, help me be still Though satan is busy, God is real Order my steps in Your word. Please, order my steps in Your word Briddle my tongue, let my words edify Let the words of my mouth be acceptable in Thy sight Take charge of my thoughts both day and night Please, order my steps in Your word Lead me, guide me everyday Send Your anointing, Father I pray Order my steps in Your word Please, order my steps in Your word I want to walk worthy My calling to fulfill Please order my steps Lord And I'll do Your blessed will The world is ever changing (but Jesus, You always remain the same) But You are still the same If You order my steps I'll praise Your name. Order my steps in Your word dear Lord Lead me, guide me everyday Send Your anointing, Father I pray Order my steps in Your word Please, order my steps in Your word”
“A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps” (Pro 16:9). “But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day” (Pro 4:18). “My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: So shalt thou nd favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man. Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths” (Pro 3:1-6). “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ” (1 Pet 1:3-11).

“When there’s a high calling on your life, the path will be more dif cult. It makes little sense to you why God selected such a road for you to take. Also, it’s a lonely journey because only those who’s been through such will understand. And these are few in number”. ~ Vernita “Neat" Simmon

A Step in the Right Direction. Have you ever considered what it looks like to “walk with God?” It’s not just something we are instructed to do via ministers, but it is a lifestyle. It’s not something you do as a “religious practice,” either. Nor do you do it with drudgery. When you begin to stay in step with God, it becomes natural. Something you do without having to think about it, like breathing. You allow God to lead and set the pace. “Smart men walked on the moon, daring men walked on the ocean oor, but wise men walk with God. ~ Leonard Ravenhill When you walk with God, you can do anything It doesn't matter what problems life may bring You may have your days of ups and downs But if you call out, He'll be around When you walk with God, your heart will sing From the love and joy His presence brings Your path will be clear, for He is the light But you must walk with faith and not by sight

When you walk with God, you join a Holy Team The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost is what I mean
They will shower you with an abiding faith And fill your heart with love and not with hate” by Ellen Bailey Today is a gift that will be gone tomorrow; don’t throw it away. “See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is” (Eph5:15-17). In his letter to the Ephesians, the apostle Paul shares how to walk wisely. In today’s passage, he gives three instructions. First, he says to “be careful how you walk”. Because we live in a sinful world, we must be vigilant about how we think and act. Second, the apostle instructs us to make the most of our time. So often we are tempted to squander our time and energy on our own pursuits without a thought of what our heavenly Father may have in mind for us. Third, Paul tells us to “understand what the will of the Lord is”. In its broadest sense, God’s will for us is that we would each become the person He created us to be and do the work He planned for us. Knowing this, we should look at every decision with consideration of whether our choice will further or hinder our heavenly Father’s purposes for us. The Lord wants us to walk wisely so that we can enjoy all the marvelous benefits He has promised in His Word. Wasted opportunities and time misspent can never be reclaimed. Let’s commit to make our lives count for Christ instead of merely living for ourselves.
