design and installations on a human centred approach. The most important value for me as a designer is the
user itself and how the user perceives an experience.
As a desinger,I get the opportunity to make users part of my design, to design with them and in that way create a valuable design for our society.

In Rotterdam there is a 6 million kilogram of coffee waste per year. I find this a very intresting fact, since coffee waste is a perfect breeding ground for mush-
10
rooms. In this design, visitors can get a cup of coffee within the pavilion. The coffee waste they produce will get a second life as breeding ground.
Visitors can also enjoy delicious oyster mushrooms snacks.

The most of common type of cancer for men is prostate cancer. In our society, there are many organisations for woman with breast cancer while lacking for men with prostate cener.
The center was designed for this need. This design enables men with the same sickness to share experience and stories, that is indispensible in the recovering process.

doctor rooms
reception
There are two rooms situated in the center where patient can talk with their doctor individually or with family.
The reception is located at the entrance of the prostate cancer center. The patient will present himself for what he will participate in activity.
waiting spots
repose rooms In the center are three repose rooms. Patients can use these rooms to take some time for themselves
The center has several waiting spots situated. They are at a garden so that patients come faster into contact with peers.
garden
kitchen The main activity in the center is gardening. There are three types of garden, vegetable, herbs and flowers gardening. This in order to get contact with each other and to share their experiences.
We use the vegetable and herbs to make delicious and healthy dishes. This to promote a healthy lifestyle and in this way we will learn the patient about the influence of food on their disease.
toilets
Each department has their own toilet facilities
