LUISE 13 TALLINN The site is situated on the west side of old town, in a very diverse neighbourhood. It consists of an unkept lawn, some bushes and trees, and there are traces of a building in the ground on one side of the plot. The building, built around the turn of the century, was demolished about two years ago and the plot now stands empty and unused. The plot’s only apparent use is now as a passage, visible through the well-used path in the grass.

The neighbourhood surrounding the plot contains on the one hand of ambassads and high end housing, and worn down wooden villas on the other. Facing the plot from one side is the tax department, and next to it lays a Hare Krishna temple in one of the wooden villas. Interviewing Lennart Eiser, a Hare Krishna monk, taught us that they have used the villa as a temple for the last fifteen years, but it was originally built as a kristian prayer house. Accoring to the monk, the plot is owned by a business man, who chose to demolish the building due to the bad state of the house and there are no known plans for the plot in the near future.
