Johannes Equizi

Johannes Equizi is an artist, designer, architect and writer graduated from the Master Interior Architecture at The Royal Academy of Art, The Hague. His practice focuses on exploring and reimagining how humans inhabit environments and come together as a society. His research delves into post-capitalistic architectures, political scenarios and unconventional dwelling practices that foster social relations beyond hierarchical frameworks. Rooted in world-building, Johannes’ work intertwines architectural sculptures, poetic expressions, multimedia installations and role-playing games to create counter-narratives and investigate alternative forms of coexistence. What drives Johannes is a need to collectively reflect on alternative futures, and he seeks to create platforms where these visions can come to life.
