Introduction The idea behind this project was to think about a way to reset your mind when you are too focused or too busy and that you need to change the way you think. But it was also to experiment new interactions with the environment and see if there is a way to see and understand things differently.

Aposmetic Jacket
Techniqual: body augmentation A lot of hacks have already been experimented. They lead to interesting projects like the aposmetic Jacket that gives you a 360 sight view. The eyeteleporter is a simple way to change the point of view and unsynchronise eyes from the rest of the body. The intimacy machine allows the user to share implemented hugs because it allows you to se what you were not used to see before.

Experiments: drawings Some ideas came from all the things gathered. The main idea was that internet is a big network connecting people wearing devices more and more related to their senses like the google glasses. So if a hacker was able to connect the pass through device security the end internet would be like a big network of incoming sensation that we could use to augment our perception of the world by increasing the amount of information our brain would receive without directly hacking our body. With that idea in mind the first research were inspired from animals and more precisely the fly. Indeed, this animal is able to see wide range and gather a lot of informations at the same time even if it unfocus from details.

Experiments: video From the concepts made before the perception was experimented with films that tried to give a first understanding of what the final result could be. The first movie on the right was made to enable the experimentation of what could produce a lot of images at the same time to the brain. This produces unfocusing cause the brain is not able to understand that many information. So at that point it was not that most interesting cause the brain getting that it was a vidĂŠo rather than a real perception. The problem is maybe that it was not a direct input. The second video was more about experimenting this perception directly outside of the body. This was a good thing cause it was questioning the interactions between people and how they could interact with perceptions and environment all together.

Experiments: mask To really experiment what would this kind of input would produce for the body I designed kind of virtual reality headset to give the eyes the impression that was they are seeing is not a vidĂŠo but direct physical input from the real world.

Experiments: real time project From all the previous experiments it was obvious that the interesting part of this project was to create a real time device so that the body could get used to the input. From that point the idea became to copy the snail that has his eyes quite far from is head. This option would be really interesting cause it would totally change the perception of the body depending on how far your eyes would be from each other but also how far they would be from your head. An adult could see the world as a child and a child could see it as an adult. The perceptions would also change depending on how fast you would move them which would create a totally new perception to your body cause it is not use to velocity or movement on eyes. Finally, by changing our perception of the world this would create a totally new interactions with the environnement and new ways to understand things. In order to achieve this the purpose would be to link together at least one camera to a phone in a virtual reality headset. With all of these elements linked together anybody could really change its way to see the world.

Experiments: virtual reality headset In order to have a nice object that would fit with the project I decided to use the openDive mask in order to render a new mask that would have a low poly form in order to express the different point of view you can now have with this device. Like if each tangente to a facette would be a point of view. Like if it was looking through a gem.
