Questions regarding atmospheric CO2 levels

If you take the entire mass of the earth's atmosphere, multiply this 0.0315% to correspond with the CO2 in 1959 then add annual CO2 emissions based on downloaded data from Our World in data, you get the level as shown in the "Trend expected from fossil fuel burning" below as taken from the World Meteorological Organization (WMO). I have done this and the graph lines up perfectly. I must assume that this is where the black line comes from. I have heard many times that warming of the earth should result in the oceans off-gassing of CO2. I have also heard that the difference between the two lines below is a result of terrestrial plants using more CO2 from increased growth rates from warming and the increase in CO2 as well as absorption from the oceans. I have heard people say that an estimate is 1/2 is from ocean absorption and 1/2 from terrestrial plant use. It also seems as though there is a consensus that the earth is warming.

If the earth is warming, why would the oceans be absorbing CO2 rather than emitting CO2?
