What was the Real Reason for Operation Fast and Furious? Clinton Crackel January 3, 2024 Having just watched the movie “Sicario: Day of the Soldado”, which depicts the violence of the heavily armed Mexican cartels, I began to think about Operations Fast and Furious. Operation Fast and Furious became known as such in February 2010, during the Obama administration, and under the control of then-Attorney General Eric Holder. The project was a tactic used by the Arizona U.S. Attorney’s Office and the Arizona Field Office of the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives as a means of tracking the sale of firearms to straw buyers in this country to arm the Mexican cartels. The tactic originated in 2006 and was originally known as gunwalking. During Operation Fast and Furious, the ATF monitored the sale of 2,000 weapons, but as of February 2012, only 710 weapons were recovered. Based on photographic displays of weapons recovered, most appeared to be semiautomatic versions of military-style assault weapons. No doubt such weapons would be highly valued by the Mexican drug cartels as they began to expand their realm of power and influence over private and government entities on both sides of the border. I have no doubt that, thanks to the efforts of the Obama administration to arm the cartels, the cartels have become an integral component of the globalist left’s efforts to overthrow our constitutional republic. Such an effort is intended to replace it with a totalitarian regime, led by leftist Democrats and favoring the wealthy and powerful. Such an action will relegate all other members of our society to subservient roles. 1

In addition to illegal drug sales, the cartels rapidly moved into the human trafficking arena, as evidenced by the influx of millions of illegal aliens entering our southern border, with some estimates ranging as high as 10 million crossings under the Biden open boarder policy. There were another 1.5 million “getaways” not apprehended during the same period. In addition to heroin, marijuana and cocaine, strengthening the powers of the cartels made the market for Chinese made fentanyl highly profitable. Chinese fentanyl supplied to Mexican cartels are now killing over 100k Americans per year. Also, the smuggling of fentanyl began around the same time as Operation Fast and Furious. No doubt, a lot of money is being made through drug and human trafficking on both sides of our southern border. I also suspect many public and private officials on both sides of the border are promoting these illicit activities. Don’t expect the Biden administration to do anything to secure our border because the intent seems to be to allow enough illegal aliens into our country to prompt an amnesty program for them, which will, in turn, expedite their pathway to citizenship to gain enough Democratic votes to enable the Democratic Party to take control of both houses of Congress and the executive branch. Already, out of 15 states that don’t require a voter to present an ID to vote, 13 of those states are Democratically controlled. In these states non-citizens can fraudulently certify their eligibility to vote. To provide better border security, the cartels are going to have to be dealt with. The most likely solution to eliminate the cartels is with the use of military force. This can be done using specialized military units that are highly trained and equipped to perform such a task. Operations would have to be carried out in an expeditious and clandestine manner.

Coordinating these activities with the Mexican federal, state, and local governments would be the most desirable way to ensure such actions can take place. However, this may not be wise because, no doubt, many Mexican federal. state and local government officials have dealings with the cartels and would undoubtedly notify the cartels of any pending military operations. For that matter, I strongly suspect many American officials, both elected and appointed, also have dealings with the cartels. Besides, Mexico has encouraged the Biden open-border policy, and has done little to stem the flow of illegal aliens and drugs into our country. Along these lines, the recent visit of U.S. Secretary of State Blinken and Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas to Mexico was probably little more than a photo op. Although the visit was touted as an effort to obtain the assistance of Mexico to control illegal immigration, the only restriction seems to be immigrants from Venezuela will be prohibited entry. This makes perfect sense since Venezuelans live in a Marxist dictatorship, and most likely wouldn’t vote for leftist candidates in this country. Maybe many American federal, state, and local government officials and media officials who deny we have problems along our southern border are the very individuals who attend parties offering children who have been trafficked as the principal source of sexual pleasure.
