Net Zero is based on political science not real science
Eric JelinskiMay 4, 2024
We need to note that CO2 is the gas of life. As I explained earlier, all life on earth, plants and animals was born out of the CO2 environment at the time of formation of the earth. What has happened to most of the carbon from the CO2 molecule since then?
Think about limestone and coral formations and CO2 dissolved in the ocean.
Further, there is no life form that is based on any other atom, other than carbon.
There is no other atom in reference to the Periodic Table that is central to any form of life on earth.
All animals, plants, bacteria, fungi, viruses have carbon atoms as their central atom.
Thankfully CO2 is today at a sufficient partial pressure to engage across the plant leaf barrier for photosynthesis to occur. Extinction is deemed to occur at
approximately below ~150 ppm, Why would all plant life die out if CO2 levels dropped down to 10 ppm? - Quora
Net-zero has been studied to be, "Net Zero" Is A Dangerous Illusion, Say Top Climate Scientists - CleanTechnica
Are these the same climate scientists who told us the earth would boil if we did not reduce CO2?
Furthermore, elimination of carbon emitters, renders much of the global population without energy needs to support their survival.
Reference: sepwww.stanford.edu/sep/jon/climate.html quoting Dr. Patrick Moore.
Quoting Hans; “It is not important, if their believe/faith is correct or not”
I say….It is important not to be promoting Net-Zero, and certainly not based on the 2050 timeline, and it is important to be correct.
Example;
Nuclear reactors could be designed to produce hydrogen to be the reducing agent for steel making, and be the fuel for converting limestone into cement that btw is required to build reactors and also modern high rise buildings.
What is the impact of an impulse in demand today, for the steel and cement manufactured with coal, oil and gas?
This means that net zero is unachievable, an illusion due to this catch 22.
However, pursuit of the concept of net-zero does provide opportunities for busywork, for taxation, government grants and loan guarantees,
Ie. a false economy similar to the false economies of wind turbines and solar panels. Eg. we pay premiums for renewable either via feed tariffs or Production Tax Credits for non-dependable energy, and then we pay again for the back up system. Another delusion is the Energiewende, German Failure on the Road to a Renewable Future - DER SPIEGEL
All of the metals, resources, to manufacture renewable energy systems, and also for manufacturing nuclear energy systems must be mined from the ground and refined using energy, but from where is this energy obtained?
In a nutshell, I have to say that Net Zero is based on political science, not real science.
