Message from India to the US about Donald Trump

December 3, 2024

See a great essay by a young environmental scientist and author in India, Vijay Jayaraj. He works with the CO2 Coalition. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from India, a Master's Degree in Environmental Science and postgraduate degree in Energy Management, both from the UK. He is developing a great career as author and policy advisor about global issues for the environment and energy.

His article below describes how one unconventional person in America, Donald Trump, is going to change the world for the better regarding climate science and environmental policies and demand reliable and affordable energy from fossil fuels and nuclear power.

Climate alarmist nightmare policies and demands of their political parties in Australia, Europe and North America to leave fossil fuels in the ground, suck the planet's entire atmosphere to sequester man-made CO2, switch to electric vehicles, manufacture up to a billion large batteries every 10 years, dispose of used batteries, add many thousands of fossil fuel power plants to charge the electric vehicles, strip huge swaths of land for wind and solar energy farms and biofuels, and build offshore wind farms exposed to severe ocean storms, rogue waves and corrosive salt water are ideas that Renaissance Engineer Leonardo da Vinci would never have suggested. But Extreme Green Dictators in Australia, Europe and North America have been doing so with impunity since the 1960s.

One man in the USA is going to change the course of environmental extremism, Donald Trump, and one young environmental scientist in India, Vijay Jayaraj, is telling Americans and Europeans to face reality.

The radically different energy and environmental policies of Donald Trump will directly and indirectly improve the standard of living for billions who otherwise have little or no voice in how to manage their world.

See some of Vijay Jayaraj's other essays here.

Thank you Vijay!

Extreme Green Environmental alarmists in Australia, Europe and North America should take note.

New commentary from CO2 Coalition’s Vijay Jayaraj:

November’s Energy Earthquake: A World Reshaped by Politics, Power, and Pragmatism

As the global energy landscape pivots in the shadow of November 2024's seismic political developments, the world finds itself navigating a complex web of geopolitics, market maneuvers and environmental debates.

In recent weeks, we have seen the return to world leadership chief climate skeptic Donald Trump and the conspicuous absences of key leaders at “green” energy’s COP29 annual summit. These punctuate emerging narratives from Africa, Asia and Latin America that signal an unmistakable ascendance of energy security and national sovereignty as priorities not to be denied.

The supposed unified, Western-led march toward decarbonization has given way to a more complex reality of increasing fossil fuel consumption driven by economic and societal pressures for wealth creation in developing countries.

The Future of World’s Largest Oil Producer

Donald Trump's election victory has once again emboldened many countries to reassess their current climate policies. His plans include expanding offshore drilling, reviving coal mining and dismantling unnecessary and expensive federal support for intermittent energy sources.

His appointment of Chris Wright to lead the Department of Energy (DOE) underscores his administration's pivot to hydrocarbons as central to U.S. energy security. In fact, this is the first time a person from the energy sector has been appointed as DOE head, which makes even more obvious the direction of U.S. policy beginning in January.
