John D Dunn, MD JD is a 50 year physician 40 year attorney, last clinical academic position civilian contract faculty for the US Army for 14 years at Fort Hood, Texas. He is policy advisor for the Heartland Institute of Chicago, a visiting fellow of the Science Advisory Committee of the Heritage Foundation of Washington DC, a member of the Board of Scientific Advisors of the American Council on Science and Health. He is and has been a lecturer and writer on matters of environmental law, climate change health and human welfare issues, toxicology, radiation biophysics, epidemiology, emergency medicine, risk management in medical matters, and medical economics and healthcare policy.

He s a strong advocate for better government research programs in toxicology, cancer risks, pollution research, science of low dose radiation, and climate change science. He has contributed to or been editor for emergency medicine textbooks, medico-legal texts and and climate science and policy publications. His written work is listed in archives of the Journal of the American Association of Physicians and Surgeons JPANDS, American Thinker, the Heartland Institute and American Council on Science and Health and allaboutenergy.net. He previously was an editor and contributor at the web site Junk Science.com
