All About Energy Website Newsletter 2022 - 9 Welcome. This Newsletter is for everyone who wants to understand that plentiful, reliable energy from fossil fuels and nuclear power, and their by-products and related technologies are essential for a prosperous, peaceful world. Wind and solar energy are not good solutions. You will learn about efforts to destroy energy sources that will keep peace and prosperity. The newsletter is for students, parents, working people, retirees, and leaders in business and government.

PEOPLE Participants of the website: allaboutenergy.net are preparing a major report: World Report Card on Climate, Energy, and related Government Policies - 2022 The planned release date for the whole report is January 31, 2023. See here for an 18 page draft of the INTRODUCTION and CONCLUSIONS. We have written the INTRODUCTION and CONCLUSIONS first for your benefit and to stay focused. It will take three months to produce the main body of the report, about 300 pages. 2
How can we write the INTRODUCTION and CONCLUSIONS before the main body of the report? The report draws on more than 3,000 articles, reports, and presentations by over 1,500 authors written in the last twenty five years, studied in detail by John Shanahan, stored on his computer, and posted on the website: allaboutenergy.net. It will take time to edit this content for inclusion in the report. The team of editors from around the world offer their guidance, comments, and writing. This is a major new report, intended to be similar to the WHOLE EARTH CATALOG in the 1970s, but focusing on the importance of carbon dioxide, the molecule of life, fossil fuels and their by-products that created the modern world, and nuclear power, nuclear medicine, nuclear science, and nuclear technologies that are essential for the future. The report presents information about more than 250 entries: countries, organizations, and individuals. It includes different points of view. Some are realists. Some are alarmists. The readers decide which is best for them. A Group of Editors has given a rating of REALIST ⤊ or ALARMIST ⤋ in each category for each country, organization, and individual. The objective is to educate the public around the world and to encourage alarmists to change and become realists like Michael Shellenberger has done, and to a lesser extent Stewart Brand and James Lovelock did.
