An unprecedented peace initiative to promote peacefully coexistence between the Maasai and elephants. The Maasai to give a COW to the elephants, received by the chief peace mediator on behalf of the elephants to seal the peace deal.
PETITION TO THE UNITED NATIONS AND KENYA GOVERNMENT
WE, citizens of the world support the peace between the Maasai and elephants because devastating droughts forced elephants out of Amboseli national park into Maasai villages looking for water and food. Villagers and elephants are victims of frequent devastating droughts and all of them deserve enough water resources to enable them co-exist peacefully. The Maasai to register 1.2 million hectares of land as community conservancies to create more land for the 70% elephants outside national parks and educate one generation of 20,000 rural Maasai children on the 12 golden indigenous knowledge rules and wisdom to enable them coexist peacefully with elephants and in return educate future

generations themselves. We urge you to formally recognize the Maasai/elephant peace declaration day and set up a fund to create an elephant economy to generate alternative income from elephant conservation
The drought has already done it; forcing 70% of elephants into Maasai villages and we cannot force them back to the national park to starve and die there.
Maasai elders are organizing a peace declaration ceremony to create peace between the Maasai and elephants. The peace to be conducted according to the Maasai culture. The Maasai to give a cow to the elephants because a cow is a symbol of peace in the Maasai culture. An elephant portrait to be drawn on the peacemaker, {the cow} and received by the chief peace mediator on behalf of the elephants to seal the peace deal and make it culturally acceptable
THE STORY

of villages from 6:00pm to 6:00 am. Villagers blow whistles, bells, bang metals, motorbike hooting, use powerful flashlights and light fires around their homes, water pans and boreholes to keep elephants away. However, elephants eventually get used to these tricks and they forcefully walk into water pans and boreholes to drink water during the day
