HAPPY CAMPING REGULATIONS

Ropes are not permitted around trees at any time. No tarps on the ground. Please use groundsheets that breathe. Trees are not to be used as clothes lines or for tying hammocks to. Clothes lines are provided at the laundries.

DO NOT clean fish anywhere in the park area. All fish you have caught should be cleaned and scraps disposed of at the point of capture.

All rubbish to be wrapped and sealed in plastic bags then placed in bins provided. NO FISH OR PRAWNS IN BINS. Do not empty OIL, FAT OR TEA LEAVES into sinks, drains or rubbish bins unless wrapped.

PLEASE do not dispose of toilet wipes into the dump points. They do not break down and continuously block the sewer.

POOL times are 7.30am until 6.00pm. Patrons use at own risk. All children must be supervised by a responsible adult in the pool area. NO GLASS OR BOTTLES allowed. NO SMOKING within the pool fence. Please read the Pool rules located on the side of the pool pump shed and abide by them. Please respect the rights of other guests using the pool.

No maintenance on vehicles/caravans/trailers to be carried out in the park. If you need to perform maintenance please contact the managers.

Children under 8 are to be supervised in the ablution blocks at all times. Cleaning times may vary – please do not enter while cleaning is in progress, as chemicals may be being used. Please use alternative amenity blocks.

GUIDELINES Should you wish to shorten your stay, please note we do not refund unused days.

Please no ground sheets on the waterfront sites.

Camper trailers and tents are permitted on the unpowered waterfront sites.

No pets allowed sorry.

CHECK OUT TIME IS 10AM If you plan to extend your stay, please notify reception the night prior to departure to avoid disappointment.

OFFICE HOURS 8am-5pm High season.

8am-1pm Low season. All other times notified at reception.

SPEED LIMIT 8km throughout the park. This is walking speed and is to be observed at all times.

NOISE Quiet time is between 9pm–6am. Please respect your fellow campers. Please phone 0408 922 810 if you are being disturbed between these hours.

VISITORS Visitors’ cars are not permitted in the park. Please use the visitor car park near the entrance. All visitors must sign in at the office.

Travel Times from Kununurra:

If using the fridges, items must be in a bag labelled with site number, date and name. All other food and cooking utensils must be kept on your site. Consider other guests and clean up all areas after use. Ashtrays are provided, please do not use the ground.

Sites must be maintained in a neat and tidy manner. For your own security, please keep all valuables locked away in your tent or caravan.

Please feel free to water the grass or wash your car and caravan on your site.

Generators are NOT permitted to be used at anytime, anywhere in the park.

Vans are to be parked “tow ball facing out” on the left hand side of the site.

Visitors are to leave their vehicles, including motorbikes, outside of the park. Visitors are not to use the shower or laundry facilities without permission from management. Patrons who wish to have visitors overnight must also seek permission and register their guests prior to staying. Patrons will be held responsible at all times for the behaviour of their visitors.

Free BBQs are provided. Open fires are not permitted. On powered sites all electrical leads must be in good working order and hooked up off the ground.

Patrons are advised that obscene language, acting in an offensive manner or making excessive noise will not be tolerated. Patrons are reminded that the consumption of alcohol is limited to sites only.

Report any faulty equipment, acts of vandalism, and unseemly or suspicious behaviour to the reception as soon as possible.

Anyone caught defacing park property or committing vandalism in the park will be prosecuted and tenancy terminated immediately.

Patrons/guests that plan to run a business of any kind from within the park MUST disclose this to park managers for approval.

Lake Argyle, known as the ‘Jewel of the Kimberley’, is a stunning man-made lake that provides an array of activities and attractions for visitors to the region. This flourishing eco-system supports over 270 species of birds, 26 species of native fish and an abundance of other fauna such as the Short Eared Rock Wallaby. For this reason, Lake Argyle is the perfect place to birdwatch and spot wildlife.

Lake Argyle also offers plenty of water activities such as boat cruises, water skiing and canoeing. If you’re a land lover, take the time to explore the region on foot or mountain bike. For a bird’s-eye view, book a scenic flight to see the lake in all its glory.
