Torquay offers an abundance of activities and is also a great location if you’re seeking some rest and relaxation. Our world famous surf beach is perfect for the whole family and can be accessed directly from the park. Local cafes and restaurants are also just a short stroll away. There are many fun activities for kids including the Elephant Walk Playground located on the Esplanade. To find out more, drop into the Visitor Information Centre located on the Surf Coast Highway or come into the office and have a chat with one of our friendly staff. Enjoy your stay!

GENERAL INFORMATION
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
RULES & REGULATIONS
Sites are available from 11.00am and accommodation is available from 2.00pm. Checkout time is 10.00am.
• A speed limit of 5kph (walking pace) must be observed at all times by all vehicles, bikes, skateboards and scooters etc.
OFFICE HOURS
• There is strictly no excessive noise, drunkenness, offensive language or offensive behaviour at any time. Park quiet time is 10.00pm to 7.00am.
Office hours are 9.00am- 5.00pm 7 days a week. During peak periods the office will remain open until 8.00pm. After hours contact number: 0417 550 539. SHOWERS To manage water use appropriately showers are timed. To operate press the black button near the cubicle to start. Please use showers sensibly.
• Vandalism of park equipment, facilities or guest property will not be tolerated. • All cars must register at the office prior to entering the park. • Persons under the age of 18 years must have adult supervision while in the park. • Children and infants under the age of 7 must be accompanied by an adult whilst in the amenity block.
AMENITIES
• A maximum of one caravan is permitted per site.
Site holders will be issued with a key to the amenities block.
• A maximum of six guests (excluding infants) are permitted per site. This can include no more than four adults.
LAUNDRIES Coin operated washing machines and dryers are available for guest use. Please reports any faults to the office immediately. BOOM GATES Upon arrival and payment a pin number for the boom gate will be given to the site holder. Pin numbers will not be issued to any other person.
• All equipment and belongings, including caravan, tent and vehicles must be contained within site boundaries. IMPORTANT SAFETY REQUIREMENTS • All vans must have fire extinguishers, a fire blanket and working smoke detector. • A space of two metres between your neighbouring camp sites is required for CFA access and to avoid the spread of fire.
PRIVATE PROPERTY
• All drawbars must face the nearest park road for CFA access.
Management does not accept any liability for loss or damage to any caravan, vehicle, tent or lost property in the park. Please make sure you secure all valuables. Lost property can be handed into the office and will be held for two weeks.
• Open fires are not permitted at anytime.
CLEANLINESS
• Please meet emergency services at the boom gate located outside reception.
Please ensure that campsites and accommodation are left clean and tidy on departure. GARBAGE Wheelie bins are situated throughout the park and are emptied daily during peak periods. Please separate garbage and recycling. Please do not move bins from their location. SECURITY Security personnel are on duty during the Christmas school holidays and weekends during February, March and April. Please contact the office if you have any concerns. All gates may be locked during the evening and reopened at 6.00am.
FIRE & EMERGENCY PROCEDURES • In case of emergency contact 000.
• Give way to emergency vehicles at all times. • The Torquay Foreshore Caravan Park Evacuation Plan can be found throughout the park in all facilities. Please familiarise yourself with the plan. • Assembly areas are marked on the park map. Please select one of these areas to meet so that you can account for your friends and family. • Once in the assembly area do not return to your vehicle or camp until authorised to do so by emergency services staff. • In case of emergency do not attempt to move your vehicle, caravan or tent.
VISITORS
ON DAYS OF TOTAL FIRE BAN/ DAYS OF HIGH RISK
All visitors must vacate the park by 10.00pm.
• All guests must comply with all conditions of any fire ban or restriction called.
REFUNDS
• On days of high risk, please listen to ABC radio 774.
Refunds will not be issued if guests leave prior to their nominated departure date.
