THE FINAL WORD
o this is it! My very last letter to you as editor of Club magazine. Not to worry, I’ll still be overseeing everything that happens on Club but over the past two years, the brand has literally exploded and today includes this magazine, Club MAN magazine and a host of incredible supplements as well as our Edgars Club über website and social media profiles. So I’ve recruited some of South Africa’s (most stylish) top talent to help me steer the ship forward. Next month you’ll meet Emma Wright, your new Club magazine editor – she is already hard at work putting the next issue together and, with her wealth of fashion experience, I think you’ll be most impressed with the luxe and lovely festive season issue on offer from the Club team. Those of you who receive the quarterly Club MAN magazine (now SA’s biggest men’s fashion and lifestyle title), are also in store for a treat. New editor Piers Buckle (who’s won awards for his work at Men’s Health and Men’s Health Living) will be bringing his refined fashion eye,
guy’s-guy sensibility and irreverent sense of humour to the issue – it’s full of the season’s most masculine looks to love and must not be missed. For our digital natives, I’m sure you have been enjoying the bigger and better edgarsclub.co.za which is updated daily with the freshest style, entertainment and lifestyle stories. You’ll still be able to catch me blogging, tweeting and chatting on Club’s Facebook page – do drop by and say hi. Of course, change can be scary but in this case it’s all about progression to the next level of excellence.
