Inspiring Teachers, Inspiring Children
Over the past three years, Babington pupils have achieved 80% A* to B grades at A Level.
It is an excellent school achieving amazing results and inspiring pupils from the Sixth Form right down to the Nursery. Babington’s Early Years provision has been top of the Bromley Borough league tables for three years running.
The school is an independent coeducational day school, situated in a beautiful group of buildings on Grange Drive in Chislehurst, near Bromley. It has 439 pupils from age 3 to 18.
Being a small school has BIG advantages. It has high standards of behaviour, dress and conduct, benefiting from no more than 20 pupils in a class and a strong sense of community.
Babington is an academic school. The School is committed to outstanding music, drama, sport and the arts in their broadest sense and offers a wealth of extracurricular opportunities. Our academic, social and sporting endeavours are underpinned by core Christian values.
The co-educational Senior School is academically selective with an Entrance Examination for Year 7 entry. In Sixth Form, the focus is very much on A-level study in small sets with the opportunity for work experience, which helps university applications stand out and provides great self-confidence.
Headmaster, Tim Lello comments “Our commitment to provide an academic and well-rounded education with small class sizes, tailored to the needs of our pupils is really paying off, our pupils and parents are happy and we are achieving excellent results.” See for yourself –

Kew Green Preparatory School (KGPS) is a lively, co-educational, independent school for children aged 4 to 11 near Kew Gardens in Richmond. Owned by the Gardener Schools Group, a family founded company celebrating 30 years this year, KGPS is the sister school to Ravenscourt Park Preparatory School, Kew House Senior School and Maida Vale Senior School.
KGPS is housed in an attractive building, surrounded by mature trees and nestled in a peaceful corner of Kew Green. It is flanked by the Royal Botanical Gardens and the River Thames and we use these regularly along with the green itself.
We offer our children the opportunity to succeed, be recognised and be valued. Our pupils grow with the faculties required to tackle the many challenges that life may have to offer. We instil tolerance and respect for others and the capacity to celebrate diversity, embrace change and understand the importance of contributing to society. Above all, we believe that children need to be nurtured, guided, motivated and inspired to allow them to blossom.
We believe children thrive in an environment that is loving and supportive. Physically, socially, emotionally and intellectually – our pupils develop and constantly achieve during their time with us. Our aim is that they leave as skilled and adaptable young citizens who will grow to meet the challenges of the 21st century. We believe in a broad and balanced curriculum, nurturing creativity and collaboration, resilience and determination whilst developing a strong self-esteem in each individual child. We enthusiastically share our pupil’s education with their parents through our ‘Open Door’ policy.
KGPS is a thriving school community where laughter and enjoyment go handin-hand with the process of delivering a first-rate education.

Located in West London, Kew House School is a co-educational, independent senior school for pupils aged 11-18 years. Owned by the Gardener Schools Group, a family founded company set up in 1991 and celebrating 30 years this year, Kew House is the sister school to Ravenscourt Park Preparatory School, Kew Green Preparatory School and Maida Vale Senior School.
Kew House School takes a modern and pioneering approach to every aspect of school life. The school recognises and enhances the individual abilities of each child, welcoming pupils with varying academic profiles and placing emphasis on confidence, self-esteem and creativity.
By operating a true ‘Open Door’ policy that welcomes parents and members of the wider community to become a part of school life, Kew House has developed the feeling of a family and social hub that provides emotional support and security for all pupils and employees.
Sport is an important part of the curriculum and Kew House pupils achieve national and regional championship. Pupils benefit from using state of the art facilities at sporting locations just a stone’s throw away from the school, including professional tennis courts and cricket grounds. Just a short walk from the River Thames, rowing is also part of the curriculum.
In September 2017, Kew House opened a brand new Sixth Form Centre which benefits from a beautifully designed independent learning centre on the ground floor. Facilities include a Sixth Form Cafe, library, roof terrace, audio-visual suite, recording studio and Sixth Form seminar rooms.
Following an inspection of the school in February 2018 by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI), Kew House was particularly delighted to learn from the lead inspector that the results of the student and parent questionnaires were the most positive they had ever seen.

Founded in 1955 through the charism of the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary (RSHM), we proudly stand as the first allgirls’ school in the United Kingdom to adopt the International Baccalaureate curriculum (IB MYP and Diploma), where girls are inspired to learn in a creative, collaborative, interdisciplinary, and exploratory environment.
Students are empowered to build their confidence, leadership skills, and sense of self on a seven-acre garden campus conveniently located just twelve miles from Central London. The campus offers outstanding facilities, including a STEAM Hub, sports hall, dance studio, modern dining hall, tennis courts and an AllWeather Pitch. The School’s challenging academic program is based on the International Baccalaureate curricula: • The Middle Years Programme (MYP), offered in Grades 6 to 10, encourages students to draw meaningful connections between eight broad and varied subject groups. With a central focus on the development of conceptual understanding and effective approaches to learning (ATL) skills, the MYP is a studentcentered, inquiry-based programme rooted in interdisciplinary learning. • The International Baccalaureate
Diploma Programme (DP) for Grades 11 and 12 builds on the strong foundation of the MYP, leading to independent research opportunities as well as exceptional university placement within the UK and around the world. • Our 2021 results are exceptional: 100% pass rate and an average of 38,2 points; the School provides a bespoke, student-centred college counselling programme which leads to successful placements in top universities in the
UK and around the world. Marymount’s holistic approach to learning delivers a well-rounded education that encourages critical thinking, intercultural understanding, and participation in a wide array of interesting extracurricular offerings.
