By building a better hospital, we help build a better community. The new Mount Sinai Queens is health care at its best. We will offer convenient one-stop medical care in a sleek, efficient, modern facility, provided by top doctors. Much more than just a new building with the latest in comforts and amenities, our new facility will allow us to better serve our Queens community. The new building will be the site of our new Emergency Department, almost five times the size of the current ED. It will feature a combination of private rooms, patient bays, and a separate pediatric emergency area within the ED, all designed to enable our medical team to examine and treat adults and children promptly and thoroughly in a comfortable environment. Our new state-of-the-art imaging center and operating rooms together with a new interventional radiology suite, will offer the latest in high-tech treatment and

diagnostics. The gleaming glass walls of Mount Sinai Doctors, Queens, the new multi-specialty practice of primary care physicians and specialists, afford stunning views of Queens, Manhattan, and the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge. While we can’t wait to show off our new facility and our new approach to health and wellness, we’re still proud of the things that make Mount Sinai Queens special, including the only Joint Commission-certified Primary Stroke Center in Queens and a first-rate nursing staff— the only one in Queens—that has been given the prestigious Magnet® designation for nursing excellence. We will now have medical and surgical capabilities that were previously only available in Manhattan, yet still maintain the comfort and familiarity of a community hospital dedicated to the health of our neighbors.
