Europa V Gibraltar United Match Program Iker Casillas suffered a heart attack during a training session with Porto The 37 year old was stable in hospital and under observation. A Porto statement said Casillas suffered an acute myocardial infarction. The training session was interrupted because of the treatment Casillas received by The Porto doctors at the training ground before he was conveyed to Hospital CUF Porto. He himself posted the above photo in his Twitter account, where many people offered their support and best wishes to the Spanish keeper. If this will be the end of his career, only time will tell. Specialists say that after the operation he will live a normal life but to be a top sportsman with the physical demands the game places on your body is another thing. Casillas will be the one to take that decision when time comes.

Today’s Opponents Lynx FC

The club was formed in 2007 and has been managed by Albert Parody for the majority of its history, making him the country's longest serving manager. After winning the Gibraltar Second Division in 2012, thus earning promotion to the Gibraltar Premier Division, the club have established themselves as a top flight team. Lynx recorded an impressive 4th place in the 2013-14 season, Gibraltar's first season with an 8 team league as members of UEFA. Since then, the club have settled into mid-table. In 2015 they appointed former national team coach Allen Bula as a sporting director, as well as becoming a feeder club to Slovakian side MFK KoĹĄice, for whom Bula was an academy coach before managing Gibraltar. Another mid-table finish followed, however, squad changes over the summer left them struggling in the bottom of the table for the first half of the 201617 season leaving question marks over Albert Parody's future at the club. Changes in January 2017 saw the signing of key players including goalkeeper Dany Fernandes and defender Charlie Mitchell, and an upturn in form saw a comfortable 6th place finish at the end of the season. On 2 June Albert Parody, the longest serving manager in the Gibraltar Premier Division, resigned and was replaced by Allen Bula. However, after 4 games and 4 defeats without any goals scored, it was reported that Bula had parted ways with the club on 27 October. (Source Wilkepedia)

Tottenham Hotspur 0 — Ajax 1

Champions League 1st semi final proved Ajax is no fluke after beating Real Madrid & Juventus, they win their first leg match 0-1 against Tottenham Hotspur. Tottenham Hotspur were without Harry Kane and Son Heung-min and didn't pose a real threat to Ajax. Ajax had another good chance to make it 0-2 but didn't take it and although the tie is still open, Ajax are firm favourites to reach the Champions League Final. In Holland the FA cancelled all League games the previous weekend so that Ajax could have more rest day’s and prepare better for the match. Tottenham played the previous Saturday against West Ham loosing 0-1, Playing on the Tuesday this Champions League semi-final. Can Tottenham overturn this result? We will see on Wednesday 8th May.

Barcelona 3—Liverpool 0

Klop said after the game it was Liverpool’s best Champion’s League game. We think it could be true the way they applied pressure to Barcelona the whole game was impressive to watch. A Barcelona team who is known to play the ball around against any opposition with ease. A team that plays the ball from the back against any team applying pressure has always been made easy by Barcelona player’s. But Liverpool applying the pressure was so intense that even Barcelona were loosing the ball in dangerous areas. Ter Stegen made a couple of good saves and Milner had a very good chance to score, but Barcelona has MESSI, a player that does week in week out things that you see from any other player once in a while, he does it every week. His alertness made him score Barcelona’s 2nd goal that not even Van Dijk,( Many were saying the best centre back ever to played in the Premiership) reacted to the ball when Suarez shot hit the cross bar. His speed in his reaction left everyone glued to the pitch. His second goal from the free kick was just unstoppable by any keeper and it was quite a distance away from goal. As many are saying every football fan is lucky to have been born in Messi’s era in seeing week in week out what he does, and thinking this guy finished 5th in the FIFA’s Ballon d’Or don’t understand that. 7
