My Dark Lady

Beauty is something that I can delineate, O my dark lady, not from what is enunciated. Upon looking at you in blue, I resolve, Beauty is an art that's perfect in itself, Idyllic - not yet a single lewdness to trace, Beauty is you, and in you I have observed it.
You're higher than the gorgeous lady Diana. I smell the rising tempo beneath my chest, With pride you gaze, a heavenly smile to see. A lady, as voiced in words, as an angel's song, In a motherly way, the hug you gave to allay, Leading me to the place that I long to travel to.
I await the same night to bechance, And to glorify the mind that starves in love, Not like yesterday, you came and departed. Let it not be a nightmare you only arrive by, Dismiss the night to subdue the day for me, For I long to trumpet in the world in concert.
