Time - you will follow, never Me

The melting time, so quick and steady, Never does turn to guide those left aside, Held fast to its own mission to accomplish. The stiff time, so inflexible and disloyal, Never does it obey the master of change, The tempo, unique of its kind to affect. The selfish time, so serious and sedate, Never does empathize over the hardship faced, In this youthful age of balance and delight. The egoist time, such a bummer and devil, Never does wait, nor carry the fact ahead, For youthfulness is fading so rapidly. The malicious time, so genome and spiteful, Never can you see me hurt, being the slave, For I'll show, malevolence in me as a master. The envious time, so jealous and wishful, Never will you overcome me, ever again, For I'll ensnare you, you'll follow, never me.
