John Quarenghi

John Quarenghi is an experienced trial attorney who has had a long and successful career. An Economics graduate from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Quarenghi studied law at the Southern Illinois University Law School, graduating in 1990. The law firm of Bernard and Davidson was Quarenghi’s first professional position, where he worked as an attorney specializing in family law, insurance defense and plaintiff’s work. In 1992, Quarenghi became an Assistant State’s Attorney at the State’s Attorney’s Office in St. Clair County, Illinois, where he was promoted to Head Warrant Officer. From 1995 to 2014, Quarenghi took a position with the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, and in 2013 he was promoted to supervisor. Since 2017, Quarenghi has worked as a prosecutor with the St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, dealing with sensitive cases such as sexual assault and child abuse as a member of the Special Victims Unit.
