Our art competition for June was the 4th Annual “Botanicals” and 2D and 3D artists (including photography) from around the world were called upon to make online submissions for possible inclusion in to the Gallery’s July 2014 online group art exhibition. The “Botanicals” theme was considered to be any art which depicted flowers, herbs, leaves, plants and related floral subjects for inclusion into this art exhibition.
This art competition and the submission process and competition for the artists began in May 2014 and concluded on June 26, 2014. The gallery received 697 entries from 20 different countries from around the world, including Armenia, Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Malaysia, Netherlands, Poland, Russia, South Africa, Spain, Turkey, United Kingdom and the Ukraine. In addition, the gallery received entries from 34 different states.
