Abergavenny, known as the gateway to Wales, is a picturesque town steeped in history and bathes in the beauty of the Brecon Beacons National Park. Full of culture and tradition, there is much to look at and explore. The Tuesday market is well known as one of the major markets in Wales, located in the heart of the town where you will find all kinds of goods.

Soak up the atmosphere of market day, walk the streets of the old town where Georgian, Tudor and Jacobean buildings lead to St Mary’s Church. Perhaps visit the Roald Dahl Children’s Gallery and Bucks County Museum, in the heart of the old town or follow the Heritage Walk and see the ‘Earthly Messenger‘ sculpture, one of Aylesbury’s top tourist attractions.

We travel first to Bakewell, home of the famous pudding and tarts! Idyllically situated on the banks of the river Wye, explore the town’s mellow stone buildings, medieval five-arched stone bridge and quaint courtyards. In the afternoon, we drive on to Matlock Bath, a 19th century spa town. Discover the heritage of lead mining, stroll along ‘lovers walk’ or take the cable car ride across the valley to the Heights of Abraham.

Torquay is an elegant resort with palm-lined promenades, beautifully manicured gardens and a lively harbour with plenty of attractions and restaurants to offer. As an alternative, you can remain on the coach as we continue to the lively seaside town of Paignton. Famous for its long, sandy, paddle friendly waters and a colourful, bustling pier. The town offers a lot more level walking than that of neighbouring Torquay.

Tuesday 29th March 2022 An unspoilt cathedral city on the edge of the rolling South Downs, Winchester is England’s ancient capital and former seat of King Alfred the Great. It is well known for its eleventh century Cathedral and for the Great Hall which for over 700 years has housed the mysterious Round Table.

Don’t miss The Guildhall, home to the Windsor Museum where you can learn the history of the town. Sunday 6th February 2022 This magnificent city has something for everyone, including the remnants of the city walls, the ‘Shambles’ and the impressive Minster. BOOKING CONDITIONS Confirmation of Booking We require payment in full within 7 days of booking. We will then email (or post if you prefer) a confirmation/receipt which is also your ticket for the excursion. If payment is not received within this time, your booking will be cancelled. (Online bookers can print off their confirmation).

Reductions There are no reductions for Senior Citizens or Children on Express Excursions.

(a) By the Company If, due to less than 20 bookings, we are forced to cancel any excursion, we reserve the right to do so up to 2 working days prior to departure. All monies paid by passengers will be refunded and following that, we shall be exempt from further liability. Directions Our premises are situated one mile north of Henley, on the A3400, travelling towards Birmingham. Upon arrival, enter via the ‘Entrance’ gateway and follow the signs for ‘Express Parking’. Alterations The company reserves the right to alter or cancel any excursion listed in this brochure, or to change the size and specification of vehicle used. On occasion it may be necessary to allocate a vehicle with a larger seating capacity. When this occurs please be advised that seat numbers may change. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we strongly recommend that you pre-book any attraction that you want to visit.

Unaccompanied Children Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult of at least 18 years of age.

Time for a Cuppa! Our ‘Comfort Stop’, here at our premises, is open for toilets and drinks, 24 hours a day. Our hot drinks machine serves Douwe Egberts bean coffee, PG tips leaf tea and Galaxy hot chocolate. For just £1 a cup, you can buy one to take on board with you or grab one before your journey back home.
