In 2017, Tower Bridge presents ‘This is London’ – an exhibition featuring the internationally acclaimed illustrations which bring the playful prose from Miroslav Sasek classic children’s book to life. All set against the backdrop of the incredible views of the city from Tower Bridge high-level walkways, a number of famous landmarks featured in the book can also be seen. Wednesday 10th May
Friday 11th August
Romantically sited overlooking the valley of the River Frome, Iford Manor is built into the hillside below fine garden terraces. In the first part of the last century, the landscape designer Harold Peto, used the gardens to express his passion for classical Italian architecture set in an English setting. Today, we discover terraced slopes, fountains, pools and classical statues, whilst roses, wisteria and climbers soften the strong lines of the architectural features. Later we continue to picturesque Bradford-on-Avon. Here, discover the ancient bridge and enjoy a stroll along the river or browse the delightful shops, visit the museums or just grab a bite to eat. Includes: Admission to gardens including a drink & a biscuit.
