Holidays are Good to Go! We are delighted to be safely operating our 2021 Holidays.
Insurance Due to FCA regulations, we cannot offer Travel Insurance but recommend that you take out your own policy, especially for medical expenses on continental holidays. Please note that it is compulsory for all passengers travelling overseas to obtain travel insurance. Regrettably however, in the event that we have to cancel the holiday for any reason, we are unable to refund any privately purchased insurance.
Your Holiday Hotels Our hotels are carefully chosen. Please advise of any special requests such as a low floor room or particular room request at time of booking. If you have special dietary requirements, we also need to know at the time of booking so that we can pass the information to the hotel.
Holiday Departure and Return Times You will see that all our tours state ‘Tour Departs’ and ‘Tour Returns’ times - these are planned times for the coach at our premises on Stourport Road and may be subject to alteration. Your confirmed pick up time will be sent to you in your final travel pack, which you shall receive in the post 7 days prior to your holiday.
Flexible Booking Policy Deposits can be transferred to another holiday completely free of charge at any time before the final payment date.
Covid-19 Assurance If you have to miss your holiday due to having the symptoms of Covid-19 or being required to self-isolate, then your holiday will be refunded, less an admin charge of just £50 per person.
Safe Operating Procedure
✓ Temperature checks prior to boarding. Passengers with a high temperature will be requested not to travel, for the benefit of other passengers. ✓ We would appreciate face coverings being worn when boarding and during the journey. ✓ Social distancing. ✓ Our driver will wear protective gloves when handling your luggage. ✓ Masks and gloves will be worn by our drivers and there will also be anti-bacterial gel available. ✓ Passengers from the same household or members of the same social ‘bubble’ will be able to sit next to each other on the coach. ✓ Upon arrival at the destination, the driver will exit the coach first and once he/she has left the vehicle, then all passengers may safely disembark, starting from the front - please continue to observe social distancing.

Isles of Scilly: A long day, enjoy the sub-tropical haven, just 28 miles off the Cornish coast. We travel by ferry and enjoy a tour by local coach. Please be aware that due to timings, the evening meal will be taken at The Lugger restaurant in Penzance.
Lanhydrock House and Gardens and Bodmin and Wenford Railway: We visit the impressive late Victorian home and gardens at Lanhydrock. We take a short drive to the Bodmin and Wenford Railway, for a scenic train ride.
St Ives: St Ives exudes a Mediterranean feel, with its maze of narrow streets, crescent shaped golden beaches, crystal blue waters, and lively harbour.
Pencarrow House and Garden: Explore the 50 room Georgian mansion, surrounded by Grade II formal gardens, a large Victorian Rock Gardens and ice house, and 50 acres of parkland.
Mevagissey and Truro: We head to the Cornish capital, Truro. Here we are free to explore the cobbled streets and Georgian houses or visit the stunning cathedral. We then continue to the delightful fishing village of Mevagissey, with its distinctive twin harbour and Cornish charm.
Trebah Gardens and Falmouth: Trebah Gardens is a spectacular 26-acre sub-tropical gardens that descends to its own beach on the beautiful Helford River. Falmouth is Britain’s most southerly resort and the third largest natural harbour in the world.
Porthleven and Lizard: We stop at picturesque Porthleven before travelling via Helston, and then onto the Lizard, Britain’s most southernly village.

Eden Project: Enjoy the autumn colour in the huge indoor biomes and outdoor garden. See acres, fiery chillies, Amaryllis, Salvias and spices.
Included Excursions Padstow, Tintagel, Port Isaac: Padstow has fine medieval buildings including the 16th century courthouse of Sir Walter Raleigh and is now famous for its restaurants, including that of Rick Stein. Tintagel is forever associated with the legends of King Arthur. Port Isaac is the setting for ITV’s TV series Doc Martin. Penzance, Geevor Tin Mine: We enjoy a scenic drive to Penzance, and to the fascinating Geevor Tin Mine Museum, to discover the history of mining in Cornwall. It was here that the BBC came for technical advice regarding the accuracy of the Poldark series. Charlestown, Shipwreck Centre and Mevagissey: Charlestown is a Grade II listed harbour doubled for Truro Harbour in Poldark and dates from the late 18th century. We include admission to the Shipwreck Centre, a treasure trove of over 8000 finds from over 150 shipwrecks found in the seas, rivers and oceans throughout the world. We finish with a visit to Mevagissey.
Healeys Cider Farm and Truro: Enjoy a guided tour around the farm, see where the apples are nurtured and harvested, and the production facility where the apples are made into cider. Ascend the cider vat, see the bottling line, visit the museum, distillery and cellars and enjoy a tasting. In Cornwall’s capital, Truro, discover the magnificent cathedral, eclectic shopping, the Royal Cornwall Museum and vibrant cafes. St Ives and Cornish Gold Centre: St Ives is a dazzling jewel in Cornwall’s crown. A picturesque fishing harbour and seaside town with a maze of narrow streets and independent shops. The Cornish Gold Centre has a large jewellery showroom, Tin Mill, timber works, Pick a Pearl, gold panning and other activities.

Included Excursions Tiverton Horse Drawn Barge: We head to Tiverton, with time to explore the quaint town, before our boat trip on a traditional horse drawn barge on the picturesque Grand Western Canal. Exmoor Coast: First to the picturesque twin towns of Lynton and Lynmouth, connected by the cliff Railway, then through the area known as ‘Little Switzerland’ to Dunster, and return via Exford and the Exmoor National Park. Appledore: Short day to Appledore, with its pretty quay and maritime museum.
Bude and Hartland Abbey: We dip our toes into Cornwall to visit Bude, the county’s most northerly town, winner of best UK coastal town on several occasions, with its sandy beaches and independent shops. Hartland Abbey is the cherished home of the Stucley family, with beautiful gardens and grounds leading down to the rugged Atlantic Cove. Exmoor Cliffs and Waterfalls Cruise: A spectacular cruise with the dramatic views of some of the highest cliffs in England – impressive headlands of the Exmoor National Park. We also sail past Watermouth harbour and onto Coombe Martin Bay to see the historic smugglers caves and the iconic sight of Sherracombe Falls. Dartington Crystal and RHS Rosemoor: Today we visit Dartington Crystal Visitor Centre, to see the exhibitions and see some glass blowers at work. Next, we visit RHS Rosemoor, one of the top RHS gardens in the country, with several themed gardens to explore.

Plymouth and The Box: Enjoy the maritime city of Plymouth, with its many attractions, including The Box, the city’s new heritage venue with 6 historic collections. Dartmoor and House of Marbles: We enjoy a visit to the House of Marbles, with working glassworks, interesting museum and glass runs. Scenery abounds as we head to Haytor, and Widecombe in the Moor, before crossing the brooding moors to Princetown and the Dartmoor Prison Museum. Dartmouth and Paddle Steamer Cruise: Visit the beautiful riverside town of Dartmouth, full of history and heritage. Kirkby Lonsdale and the Settle to Carlisle Railway: We visit Kirkby Lonsdale on market day, before travelling past the immense Ribblehead Viaduct to Settle. We take one of the most spectacular train journeys in England, the famous Settle to Carlisle Line, back to Carlisle.
Grasmere, Rydal Mount and Dove Cottage: We visit Grasmere, famous for its gingerbread, and once the home of the famous poet William Wordsworth. We include a visit to Dove cottage, the humble abode where he wrote many of his greatest works. We continue to Rydal Mount and Garden, the poets home for 37 years and which contains portraits, personal possessions and some of his first editions. Holker Hall and Gardens: Holker Hall is a delightful family home with fine displays of antique furniture and art. The pleasure grounds cover 25 acres of formal and woodland gardens, with magnificent water features including the limestone cascade. Friday: We travel to Yorkshire, arriving mid afternoon. During your stay, enjoy three evenings of musical entertainment, including Jersey boys and Ratpack tribute acts. Saturday: Explore the pretty town of Harrogate, with pretty gardens and delightful Victorian arcades. Sunday: We travel the short distance to York, where the day is free to explore the fascinating city, where attractions include the National Railway Museum, Jorvik Centre, the City Walls, the little streets and alleyways in the centre, not forgetting York Minster.
Tuesday: We depart the hotel after breakfast, and visit Chippenham, a historic market town with museum and vibrant shopping. We continue to Cirencester for a browse, before returning home.
Monday: Depart for our hotel after breakfast for the homeward journey.

Harris Afternoon Tea Box on Outward Journey
Itinerary Day 1: We travel north through the borders of Scotland and into the Scottish Highlands, checking into the Onich Hotel Fort William for the next two nights. Day 2: We visit Oban, known as ‘Gateway to the Isles’, one of Scotland’s most picturesque and popular resorts. Day 3: We depart the hotel and take the scenic drive along the Great Glen, stopping off at Eilean Castle and onto the Isle of Skye. We make our way to Uig and our afternoon sailing across to the Isle of Harris in the Outer Hebrides. Visit the Sound of Taransay before moving on to the Isle of Lewis and Stornoway, to the Caladh Inn Hotel, our base for the next three nights. Day 4: A day free in Stornoway – where Gaelic traditions and the language still survives. There are some lovely easily graded walks around Lews Castle grounds, and plenty of shops to browse on the seafront. Day 5: A local and experienced guide will join the coach for an amazing day excursion around the Hebrides. Enjoy pretty moorlands, sheer cliffs and sandy bays as well as a stop at the Standing Stones of Callanish, an antiquity of the Bronze Age. Day 1: We travel north to Scotland, for our overnight accommodation in the Loch Lomond/Glasgow area. Day 1: Travel to Fishguard for our ferry and onto Dooleys Hotel Waterford for our overnight stay. Day 2: Travel on to County Cork, where its possible to kiss the Blarney Stone, before continuing into County Kerry, to Castleisland, our base for the next 3 nights. Day 3: Killarney, Jaunting Car Ride and Lake Cruise: Spend time in the tourist town of Killarney, and enjoy a traditional jaunting car ride through the National Park to Ross Castle, followed by a scenic lake cruise. Day 4: Ring of Kerry: A highlight of the tour. Formed during the last ice age, the picturesque peninsular, with its traditional villages, lush countryside and ocean views, makes it a wonderful coastal drive. Day 5: From Kerry we travel to County Cork, and visit Cobh, a tiny fishing village with a big history made famous as the last port of call for RMS Titanic. After a few hours we continue our journey to the Royal Hotel, Bray for our final overnight stay. Day 6: We catch the morning ferry from Dublin to Holyhead and continue homeward. Breakfast is included on the ferry.
