I was a software engineer for 15 years (1986-2001) working at GAMMA-METRICS, QUALCOMM, and SAIC/TransCore doing embedded programming in PASCAL and C. The first computer I wrote software for had 48K of RAM. The 8" floppy disc had 1 MB of storage. You have to be creative to write a compiler in such an environment. Then I saw the light and became a librarian. I now work at 2 different community colleges as an adjunct reference librarian. I have been married to my beautiful wife Lydia since 1991. I am very proud to be uncle to 2 nephews (Paul, Dustin), 5 nieces (Christine, Checka, Megan, Amaya, Talia), 3 grandnieces (Madeline, Adelaide, Delaney) and 1 grand nephew (Camden).
