Practical Nursing Program • The Practical Nursing program is a 3-semester program with a spring entry only. • Graduates of the program are eligible to take the National Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses. • Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) occupy a place on the career ladder between nurse aides and registered nurses. • NC’s LPNs carry out a wide range of nursing duties, from collecting blood samples to performing wound debridement.
