San Diego, United States

In July of 2012 I finished my 4th treatment, second interferon treatment in the last three years, (with over eight months of infergen shots every day in between.) Trying to kill the Hep-C virus I acquired either in boot camp getting immunized, or snorting coke from a straw. Most of that time I spent living in my '92 Camaro, parked almost always at Robb Field in Ocean Beach. The treatments were unsuccessful, (tt's bad) I'm fine. The liver is stage 1. (That's good). The doc, though, says I'm terminal...she doesn't think I'll live another 30 years. I served honorably during the tail-end of the Vietnam War in the U.S. Navy. I qualified aboard a Lafayette class ballistic submarine, THE U.S.S. Daniel Webster, SSBN 626 (Blue crew), was busted for smoking pot on R&R, and ended up on a Destroyer Tender named the Bryce Canyon, AD36, (with my dolphin insignia and a Seaman Recruit stripe.) The three years I spent in the Navy were the longest I was ever to hold a job, and with 9 Captains Masts that was a miracle. Today
