Introduction It’s easy to get bogged down in the responsibilities, to-do lists, and schedules of everyday life. We’re often so busy that we forget to set aside time to spend with our heavenly Father. But God gives us each day to live and thrive in His love—a way to reenergize our souls and make a new commitment to enjoy the gift of every new day He gives us. Take time from your busy life to experience an intimate connection to your heavenly Father. This planner is a good way to start. Use it to assist in the organization of the daily grind, and allow the readings and scripture to inspire your heart all 366 days of 2016.

November 2015

He Plows Our Hearts Sow righteousness for yourselves, reap the fruit of unfailing love, and break up your unplowed ground; for it is time to seek the Lord, until he comes and showers his righteousness on you. Hosea 10:12 niv Has God brought you through a season of growth and you thought you might get a break? Sheri thought the same thing after losing both her parents within a year’s time. She was finally moving through life on an even keel and felt quite content; then her husband lost his job. They had little in savings, and her job was not enough to pay all the bills. Her husband was depressed about his prospects for another job and often unmotivated because of it. They quickly fell behind on rent and utilities. Vacations and dinners out became extreme luxuries. Sheri picked up a part-time job on top of her full-time job to help make ends meet. Even still, they began to fall into debt, and before long both of them teetered on the verge of despair. Yet God gave them the strength they needed to get through each week and month and eventually provided better jobs for both of them. None of it was perfect, by any means. But what Sheri and her husband realized was that God was breaking up some unplowed ground in them that they hadn’t known needed to be plowed. Father God, bless our unplowed ground with productive work, that our lives may bring forth a fruitful harvest for You. Amen.
