5 Parameterizable Byte areas (Byte Area) 5.1 General The dialog serves to apply, cancel or change of the byte areas.

5.2 Via Main menu / System programming /Service / Programmable I/O-level / Options / Byte

The dialog only can be opened via menu toolbar. Clicking on "Byte Area" opens the "Definitions for Byte Area, group n" dialog window.

Delete

Deletes a byte-area by clicking the desired byte-areas in the table.

Edit

Opens the edit dialog to change a byte-area by clicking desired byte-area in the table.

Cancel

Returns to the previous window without adopting the values.

The bytes for the transmission data are turned in pairs. This is in parts required for Interbus S transmissions. Make sure that the first byte of the bus area is an even number. The transmission of work piece number data is in binaryBCD coded decimal system in both directions. Start-byte of the bus data area to be read. Only active when EUN read or DFUE read is selected. The index is used as counting method. The first byte of the bus data is byte 0.
