Features  1-channel electronic amplifier  Input for Namur sensors  Buffer amplifier with time responce  Time responce: pulse lengthening,       

pulse clipping DC 24 V tension of supply Opto-decoupled PLC signal short-circuit proof electronic output Status signalisation, LED Compact terminal box Simple installation according to DIN46277 and DIN EN 50022 Protection class IP20

Operation Using this buffer amplifier input signals with different impulse length can be evaluated. After detecting the impulse the signal is switch on the output with a pre defined length. The switch length of the output is adjustable in steps of 50ms. Also the polarity is adjustable. The parameterisation is done with the DIP switch inside.

Figure: Adjusted 300 ms positive Logic DIP Switch: With the switches 1 to 7 the impulse length of the output signal is adjustable. The switches are binary coded and have a valence according to the following table. In addition to the adjusted impulse length 50ms have to be added in principle. Switch

If all switches from 1 to 7 are OFF, an impulse length of 50 ms is generated by the amplifier. For setting an impulse length of for example 1000ms the switches 5, 2, 1 (= 800 ms + 100 ms + 50 ms) have got to be ON. This examble is shown in the following table. Switch

Using switch 8 the logic of positive or negative can be changed. Positive Logic: The output is in non operative state 0 and in operative state 1 (24Volt) for the defined impulse length. Negative Logic: The output is in operative state 1 (24Volt) and in non operative state 0 for the defined impulse length. Important: To define a clear state of switch the load of the output resistance has got to be at least 100 KOhm.
