Cleaning prior to installation:
The surface must be clean. Eliminate dust, dirt and oil residue. We recommend using a powerful soap solvent. Subsequently rinse with clean warm water and wipe with a moist cloth.
Cleaning of DuraStripe®:
Dirty DuraStripe® is cleaned with warm water and soap. DuraStripe® does not resist powerful solvents, but resists acids and alkaline liquids.
Removing DuraStripe®:
Possible glue remnant is removed with a solvent. 1. Add some “Citrus Cleaner” on a cloth and smear it on the glue remnant. 2. Brush over the glue remnant with a scrubbing brush. 3. The dissolved remnant is wiped with a dry cloth. 4. Wash the floor surface with soap or household spirit to degrease the surface.
Installation: Installation Tools
Remember to take protective measures before the cleaning is done. Make a test with the solvent before it is used on a large area to make sure that the surface resists the solvent.
