TAURUS variants TAURUS with built-in spent mandrel container Non removable, sideways emptying spent mandrel container from PH 2000, particularly suited for extra-long mandrels from 50 up to 70 mm.

TAURUS with spring loaded trigger system This feature ensures that the materials of the riveting application will be pressed together before the rivet is installed, thus avoiding gaps in between. Moreover the operator will be certain that the rivet has reached its end position in the application and that the setting head is in contact with the upper side of the material before the riveting process is started.

TAURUS with rivet counter

The tool is equipped with a sensor which detects the evacuation of the 足broken mandrel after the setting process is complete. The sensor is installed just in front of the mandrel container and connected either to a local control and display unit GRivCount or to a centralized monitoring system via the line amplifier GRivAmp.

TAURUS with setting process monitoring

The setting process monitoring is achieved by a direct on-line analysis of 足traction force and traction course recorded during the setting of the rivet.

All system components necessary for operation are included in the tool itself. The setting analysis takes less than 1 microsecond and its result is directly displayed by a green or red LED installed in the tool base and, optionally, by a warning tone. Moreover, a collective analysis of the complete work piece is also included. The tool stores more than 260.000 individual setting processes, which can be recalled at any time. The system also identifies failure patterns and memorizes those for failure analysis and troubleshooting. The tools can be operated as stand-alone or as part of integrated production systems. 速
