Accessory for Taurus Series Riveting Tools : Nose Extension Units (Valid as from April 2004) 1.
Purpose
The nose extension units are used to reach recessed riveting locations. Two different lengthes are available for all Taurus tools : A 50 mm (2“) extension and a 100 mm (4“) extension.

Warning : New ! for Taurus 3 only : As from April 2004, a new shcok absorption system has been introduced into the TAURUS 3 (see also product information 04/097/04 dated 17.03.2004). This requires an adaptation of the nose extension unit to the shock absorption system. These new TAURUS 3 nose extension units retain the same part number as the old ones : Taurus 3 Taurus 3

Design
Each Nose Extension Unit consists of 3 parts: After installation the total available head length is 106 mm (4,17”) with the 50 mm extension and 156 mm (6,17”) with the 100 mm extension, without any diameter increase.

Installation
The Nose Extension Units can be installed without any special tool, only with the wrench included in the package.
