Before you start Put the number stickers 1, 2 and 3 onto a dice. Put the sound cards from Book 1 and page 33 in a pile. Put the word cards from pages 23 and 31 (as well as Book 1) in a pile
Play this hedgehog sound game!
Put the hedgehog stickers onto card to use as counters.
Woken whilst hibernating. Miss a turn looking for somewhere to sleep.
Hibernating. Miss a go.
Save this game until you have completed the book!
It’s spring! Time to wake up and find your friends.
Instructions
Throw the dice to move your hedgehog. Injured. Miss a turn being treated at the animal hospital.
If you land on an orange flower, pick up a sound card. If you say the right sound, move on one space. If you land on a red leaf, pick up a word card. If you read the word correctly, move on two spaces. Add more words and sounds as you learn them.
