The turning point in Joma’s growth was marked by the introduction of colour in football. Fructuoso López launched the first coloured boots in the 1990’s, revolutionising the world soccer market which was previously dominated by black.
Another field in which value has been added is Joma’s logistics, and this year, thanks to a not inconsiderable investment in robotics, the company has managed to deliver 87% of orders ahead of schedule and reduced its margin of error by 1%.

V I L L A R R E A L C . F. Villarreal Club de Fútbol is a Spanish professional football club from the Castellón region and have competed in the national La Liga championship since 2013. ‘The Submarines’ play at the Estadio de la Cerámica and have been regular qualifiers for European tournaments over the past few seasons. The club were semi-finalists of the UEFA Champions League in 2006, narrowly being beaten by Arsenal 1-0. At the end of the 2007/08 season, Villarreal finished as runners-up in La Liga, again qualifying for the UEFA Champions League. Villarreal have also appeared in three UEFA Europa League semi-finals (2003/04, 2010/11 and 2015/16) as well as a quarter-final exit in 2018/19.

Getafe, formed only 36 years ago in 1983, were promoted to La Liga Primera División just 22 years later in 2005/06, joining three other clubs from the Spanish capital in the countries highest profile football league. Since then, the club has faced some of the world’s biggest and most successful clubs in one of the world’s most competitive leagues from their intimate home stadium, Coliseum Alfonso Pérez which holds just over 17,000 spectators. Despite their humble surroundings, Getafe have now spent 15 seasons in the top La Liga división, suffering only one relegation which resulted in immediate promotion back to the Primera División in 2017. Getafe were also Copa del Rey runners-up twice in succession (2006/07 and 2007/08) and will represent Joma in the UEFA Europa League after finishing fifth in La Liga in 2019.

Founded in 1940, The Eibar Sports Society would not compete in official competition football until the 1943-44 season. The club made it’s debut wearing a similar colour shirt to the famous Barca stripes. Ten years later, in 1954, Eibar were promoted to the Spanish Second Division, going on to lift their first national title and proclaiming the popular club as the Champions of Spanish fans. In 2014 Eibar achieved promotion to the top tier of Spanish football for the first time in their history after beating Deportivo Alavés to secure the second promotion place from the Spanish Second Division. This followed 29 seasons playing in the Spanish Second Division and Second Division B. Eibar is now competing in it’s sixth consecutive season in La Liga Primera Division after finishing as the highest placed Basque club in the league for the first time on 2018/19. The club plays at the Iprurua Municipal Stadium which holds just 7,083 spectators.

TO U LO U S E F.C . Toulouse Football Club is a French professional football club who compete in the national La Ligue 1 championship. Founded in 1970, the club were eventually promoted from La Ligue 2 after winning the 2002/03 title and taking their place among the very best teams in France. L E H AV R E A .C . Le Havre Athletic Club is a French football club who currently compete in La Ligue 2, a league they have previously been champions of in 1938, 1959, 1985, 1991 and 2008. The club has an interesting history, having been formed in 1872 as a rugby club. Ten years later, Le Havre athletics teams merged and the club was renamed Le Havre Athletics Club. Then in 1894, the football club was inaugorated and went on to win its first Championship de France (USFSA) in 1899 and 1900. In 1959, Le Havre Athletic Club won its first profesional title when it defeated FC Sochaux to lift the French Cup. The club then went on to win the Challenge of the Champions (Super Copa) in the same year against OGC Nice.

SWA N S E A C I T Y A FC Swansea City AFC is a professional football club from the Welsh city of Swansea which plays in the English Football League Championship. U.C. SAMPDORIA Unione Calcio Sampdoria is one of Italy’s most iconic profesional football clubs, based in Genoa since being formed in 1946. The club play at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris and compete in the national Serie A. Sampdoria have one Serie A championship title to their name (1909/91) as well as four Coppa Italia titles and one SuperCoppa Italiana. In Europe, the ‘blucerchiati’ lifted the UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup in 1990 following up their runners-up place just the previous season. Torino Football Club is another of Italy’s most iconic clubs with a powerful history and legacy of domestic and European competition. ATAL A N TA B.C . Atalanta, founded in 1907 are one of Italy’s top football clubs, competing in Serie A and who play at the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d’Italia in the northern región of Bergamasco. Despite Atalanta being surrounded by other northern Italian football superpowers in Turin, Milan and Genoa, the club is proud of it’s impressive pedigree in Serie A. C R U Z A Z U L F.C . Cruz Azul FC, founded in 1927 in the Mexican town of Jasso, play in the Mexican Liga MX Primera Division. The club now play at the famous Aztec Stadium in Mexico City and are the fourth most successful football club in the country. Cruz Azul have lifted the Mexican First Division championship eight times, won the Copa MĂŠxico four times, the Champion of Champions title twice as well as the Supercopa MX once. TSG HOFFENHEIM TSG 1899 Hoffenheim are one of Germany’s biggest football clubs, competing in the Bundesliga for their twelfth consecutive season in 2019/20. The club play home matches at the Wirsol Rhein-Necker-Arena in the Hoffenheim village of Sinsheim. Owner, Dietmar Hopp invested €100 million to build the new 30,000 capacity stadium and oversaw the clubs rise from Bundesliga 2 to eventually qualify for the UEFA Champions League in consecutive seasons in 2017/18 and 2018/19 after third and fourth place finishes in the German domestic league. The club play at the RSCA Constant Vanden Stock Stadium in Anderlecht, Brussels.
