This is where we ALL get choked up (I’m not alone, right?!) I so enjoy hearing what unique promise each couple has for each other, when they wipe each other’s tears, and how easily they can make each other laugh. There is SO much heart in this portion of the day, I don’t know how it couldn’t be a fave!
Portrait time with the couple is hands down my favorite part of the day! This is when we get to laugh uncontrollably, produce something special, and when my couples really get to enjoy their wedding day. We have SO much fun, so I have to put it on the top of my list.
Not many photographers pay attention to this moment, but the first few seconds of marriage are so special! This is when the couple gets to hug, laugh and cry over the moment they realize “we are finally married!!” It’s emotional and I love documenting this part of the day!

I ALREADY KNOW IT, OUR ADVENTURE SESSION IS GOING TO BE one of my ver y favorite parts of our time together! We are going to have so much fun! I think ever y stage of a relationship is worth celebrating, so I like to give you options! Are you using your adventure session to celebrate your... ENGAGEMENT - Giving yourselves the chance to be in front of my camera beforehand is going to make your wedding day experience feel so smooth, seamless, and comfortable! Not only that, but we get to create something so special together. You’re going to be married for over fifty years, but you only get to be engaged for this short period of time. I’m so excited to capture the only time in your life when you get to be each other’s fiances. DAY AFTER WEDDING/ELOPEMENT - Maybe you are having a destination wedding and you want to hike in your wedding clothes for some epic views. Maybe you just did a small courthouse elopement and you want to get pictures to celebrate. Maybe you are on your honeymoon and you just want to remember that tropical bliss. Whatever it may be, let’s get some amazing photos of you and your love snuggling in the ocean or smooching on a mountain top. TO THE
DRESS
LONG, FLOWY DRESSES AND SKIRTS LOOK AMAZING ON CAMERA BECAUSE THEY BRING extra movement to the photos. Especially when juxtaposed with nature, like the desert, forest, mountians or beach. They are usually easy to move around in too, which is great becuase we do a lot of playing during our session! Cute, shorter-length dresses photograph beautifully as well. Dresses and skirts tend to look most stunning on camera because they really flatter the female body — which is probably why they make me feel so incredible when I wear them! I knew there was a reason why that’s the only thing I own! ;) If you want to include a really well put together boho outfit with pants or shorts, I’d use that during the more casual section at the beginning of the session. If dresses aren’t your thing, bring at least one well styled outfit for fun! Since I think dresses make you feel the most amazing I do recommend saying yes to a dress (or two!)
