Final revisions on a novel that takes place in both New York City and the West of Ireland. It is a kind of eco-protest adventure story interwoven with a tender love story. I am in the agent query/submission process with this one. My first novel takes place in a small NC mill town in 1960. The story involves race, love, loyalty and belonging....or not. After beginning the outline stage of a third novel while having some quiet time at the Meher Spiritual Center in Myrtle Beach, SC, I am close to finishing a first draft of this somewhat complicated & episodic story. Also have finished a 40-page presentation for my photo-image book on the Sacred Ireland, but there are no takers yet. Publishers are holding back something fierce. I taught a week-long photo workshop at the John C. Campbell School in Brasstown, NC. (www.folkschool.org) in March. JCC is an awesome place. Worth the time & effort to go there! Now facing the difficult agent query process. But I have enjoyed writing about an environmental boondoggle
