Since 1929, the Bradford Playhouse has acted as the beating heart of Little Germany, a remarkably beautiful and historically central region of Bradford. The first of our tenanted spaces are now available with further accommodation becoming available soon. As a community hub we are more than just a space to hire. We have a theatre, social spaces and a thriving programme of events. We are keen to share our spaces with those who have a similar community and social focus. We are to help, to change Bradford and sharing this building seems like a great way to start.
Support In the basement is our social space, The Priestley Coffee Lounge and Bar. Used for meetings, social gatherings and a constant supply of tea, this communal area is the thriving hub of the Playhouse.
It is used by our tenants during the day and open to the public for a range of events in the evening s and at weekends both private and public. As with all our rooms, tenants are welcome to use this space and any other empty spaces in the building without additional cost as long as they are not required by a paying event. There is lots of room for everyone and we would prefer to see it used. 

11 — Bradford Playhouse
Our most recently refurbished space is most commonly known as the “Sewing Room” as historically it housed the costume department. Today it is a large open space which has most recently being used as a gallery space. With white walls and stanchions of open brick it would make a modern and light rehearsal space, gallery or it can be split into flexible smaller spaces. Size 1000sq ft Lots of electricity points included Flexible “click” lighting. Recently refurbished Wi-Fi and Bills included. 24hr Access £850 PCM
3 Dressing Rooms Convenient access to the entirety of the building, most Convenient and ergonomic access for props etc via Back Chapel Street
11 — Bradford Playhouse
Room 2 Will Split into Offices AKA Room at the Top is a bright spacious space with windows to roof and four aspects. It makes it a very bright space. Commonly hired by photographers and rehearsals it would make a great movement space. We are also looking at the possibility of separating the space into smaller offices and so it can be split into different sizes. It means we can create the right space for your needs.
