Already in the season 2008/2009 we have successfully given life again to the historically well known D.A.M. rod name New Dimension under our MAD® carp range. That high-quality carp rod series turned out to be a huge success and has been very well received by european carp anglers. This rod has been especially developed and designed by our French predator specialist, who tested it extensively on big black bass and giant zander. New DimeNSiON DeaD bait zaNDer & Pike Fishing with deadbait for zander and pike has become a real specialized way of predator fishing. Rods for this angling discipline need to have enough backbone to cast long distances with quite heavy baitfish. Well, these two beauties have all it takes! Although very strong and stiff, the rod weighs close to nothing which is fantastic during the fight and while retrieving the bait. Our distance feeders have been especially developed and constructed for fishing big rivers and to cope with extremely heavy current! Its unique stiff blank has been developed in such a way that it guides the full energy quickly from the handle to tip section. Casting big, heavy, completely filled feeders are no problem with these canons!
This is a very versatile rod that can be used in many situations. It is developed for fishing at medium range distance in lakes and channels with no or little current. Thanks to its lower casting weight it has just a bit more sensitivity for smaller, careful biting fish!

tc 36 N carbON rODS The CALyBER™ range is an exciting series of high level specialist rods for active predator fishing. Finished according to the latest modern Japanese standards, every single one of them is a real treat for the eye! The CALyBER™ series includes one piece rods as well as two piece rods, suitable for both spinning reel and baitcasting. All rods are made out of high modulus TC36 N carbon, that has resulted in extremely light blanks with a superb quick tip action. The functional two part handle out of high quality Japanese EVA offers you a comfortable arm-rest and very quick handling. The CrossPower Winding technology already has a long and successful history in D.A.M., but adapting the latest step of development to a new and comprehensive sea rod series has also been a challenge for us! During the past few years our previous SteelPower速 sea fishing rod series has become a well known name to many sea anglers. The result is a special and very natural surface structure which is then only coated by a thin an UV-restistent and colour changing varnish. Thereby the blank keeps its natural strength that makes it much more resistent against breaking, bending, hitting and pushing forces and that supplies amazing strength in border line situations, no matter if with monofilament or braided lines.

techNical FeatUreS:
At the start of every new season, DAM is setting new standards in rod design and technology. Last year for example, we introduced the Nanoflex rods which became a gigantic selling hit! This year is no different, as we proudly introduce the brand new innovative Spezi Alert rods. We have successfully managed to integrate a micro bite alarm inside each rod that alerts you with both a visual and audio signal! The bite alarm has been designed inside the screw-on butt cap and is therefore barely noticeable at first glance. The big advantage is that the angler won’t be needing a separate bite indicator anymore and that the rod itself functions as both rod and bite alarm! The series consists of 5 target fish rods and one allrounder, that are all designed for static bottom fishing. This means that that there is a perfect Spezi Alert for everybody. Not only have we focused on the bite indicator feature, we also made sure the rods meet our quality and action standards. The rods are made out of TC 24 A carbon and equipped with stable gunsmoke SIC guides and an ABS-graphite reel seat.

We are convinced that the Spezi Alert rods are just what many anglers have been waiting for a long time!
hOw DOeS it wOrk? Contact between the full carbon line clip and the blank will set off the alarm in the rear of the rod. The alarm will react with a constant, very annoying high pitch and the transparent DAM logo will light up very bright.

After casting the bait out and the line is tightened, you turn on the alarm by turning it to the left in the “ON” position.
While the alarm is going off, you gently put the line in the top of the line clip
After the strike, you turn off the alarm with a single turn to the right and you can concentrate on getting the fish in.

Thanks to specifically designed rod actions, only three kinds of casting weights are necessary for the most popular types of fishing: 5 – 20 g / 15 – 40 g: Perch, trout, whitefish, zander, light carp fishing. 30 – 80 g: Carp, heavy zander fishing, barbel, spin fishing for pike, zander and seatrout. 60 – 160 g: Heavy fishing for pike with baitfish, heavy carp fishing, perk fishing, fishing for herring and salmon. Conclusion: Less rods for a wider range of fishing. Also the price/ performance ratio is almost unbeatable!

power tip As a speciality the PYTHON series offers rods in the so called POWER-TIP construction! In the more sensitive tip section glas fibres are melted around a carbon core under high pressure and temperature. The carbon thereby still ensures a certain lightness and stiffness and the special glas fibre takes care about the extremely high flexibility and breakage safety. Depending on the length and casting weight these tips have been tested with bending curves of 180 – 270 degrees. As these figures can’t be reached in practical fishing and even under extreme conditions bending curves never exceed 120 – 150 degrees, these tips can truly be named as almost unbreakable.
