JOPLIN REGIONAL
Innovation & Technology Summit
#jomotechsummit
Welcome Dear Attendees, Welcome! The Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation planning team began working on this innovation and technology summit more than a year ago. It feels great to finally be here, and we thank you for sharing this historic moment with us. A huge thank you to our sponsors; we would not have been able to host this inaugural event without you. A special thank you to James River Church-Joplin Campus for providing this incredible and tech friendly venue. They have been a pleasure to work with, so if you see a James River Staff Member in the hall today, show them some Joplin gratitude. Technology and how we do business is transforming quickly around us. The purpose of this summit is to educate you on the changes, challenges, and opportunities of owning a business and working in a technology-driven world while presenting solid solutions to help you overcome those obstacles. We also know you will be moved by the many entrepreneurs who will be sharing their stories of focus, determination, and amazing success. At the end of today, we don’t want this to be another event you attend, but a real experience that inspires change moving you into a better place. Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the inaugural Joplin Regional Innovation & Technology Summit! Let’s do this! Respectfully,
Tonya Sprenkle, Vice President Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce
