! Cultivating a Community of Kingdom Culture Revivalists YOUR KINGDOM COME
!
!
Week 1
1.God wants us to have the Kingdom of God now.
!
•Matthew 6:10
“Jesus taught His disciples to declare, “Your Kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.”
!
Teacher’s Note: • He was not teaching His disciples to pray for a future event that would be inaugurated on earth at the second coming of Christ. He fully expected His disciples to preach and demonstrate the Kingdom of God everywhere they went, to whomever they met.
!
•Matthew 10:7,8
“As you go, preach this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven is near.’ Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.“
!
•Luke 12:32
“Your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom (of God).”
!
Teacher’s Note: • Most understand what He has “given” us. What is the Kingdom of God? What does the Kingdom of God look like? In other words, how do we know when the Kingdom of God is among us?
! !
2.The Kingdom of God is righteousness.
! !
•Psalm 89:14
“Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your
throne.”

! Cultivating a Community of Kingdom Culture Revivalists The word “righteous” in English was originally, “rightwise,” which originally meant, “right ways.” God’s righteousness is His right ways. Righteousness is revealed when wrong things are made right.
!
Teacher’s Note: • Therefore, righteousness expresses the justice of God – bringing about what is right – declaring people saved, healed and delivered (set free).
!•
!
When we release the right ways of God (His righteousness) we are releasing the Kingdom of God – His rule/influence/power to change things on earth.
•Malachi 4:2
“But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings. And you will go out and leap like calves released from the stall.”
!
•John 10:10
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”
!
•1 John 3:8
“For this reason Jesus came: To destroy the works of
the devil.”
!
Teacher’s Note: • When we heal the sick, the righteousness of God is demonstrated. When a deaf ear is made right, a blind eye is made right or a cancerous tumor is destroyed, the right ways of God are established.
!• !• !•
When we prophesy the good plans and purposes God has for someone, the devil’s lies are exposed and made right. They hear the right ways of God for their life. When a marriage, a family, business partners, countries are reconciled, the righteousness of God is revealed. Whenever we destroy the works of the devil in any way, the right ways of God are established and the Kingdom of God is revealed Continued on Next Page © Copyright 2012 – Kevin Dedmon

resulting in life to the full. Share how you have grown in taking risk in order to step into your destiny as a revivalist. !Righteous
!
is also used as a legal term. When we are declared righteous (right), by a judge in a court of law, we receive justice. !The
Good News is that God has released His justice in declaring us righteous (right) through the sacrifice Jesus made on our behalf on the cross.
!
•Romans 1:17
“For in the gospel, a righteousness from God is
revealed.”
!
•2 Corinthians 5:21
“God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”
!
Teacher’s Note: • When God looks at us He sees us as right (righteous) because he sees us in Christ. We are a new creation, made in the right way.
!
!The
right ways of God releases the justice of God, which brings about the peace of God.
! !
3.The Kingdom of God is peace.
!
•Romans 5:1
“Therefore, since we have been justified through faith (declared righteous), we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
!
Definition: Peace is more than just an anxiety free life – that is the peace of God. Peace with God has to do with alignment. When two countries are at war and decide to make a peace treaty, they come into alignment with

! Cultivating a Community of Kingdom Culture Revivalists each other’s purposes. We were once enemies of God, but now we are aligned with God’s purposes in our lives. !When we are confident in God’s promises, we are more likely to take risk.
•Isaiah 32:17
!
“The fruit of righteousness will be peace; the effect of righteousness will be quietness and confidence forever.”
•Isaiah 9:7
“Of the increase of his government (Heaven’s structure) and peace (alignment), there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this.”
!
•Colossians 1:19,20
“For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.”
!
•James 3:18
!
!
“Peacemakers who sow in peace (creating alignment between heaven and earth) raise a harvest of righteousness (bringing about the right ways of God).” Teacher’s Note: • When the righteousness (the right ways) of God is released into circumstances and relationships, it results in the alignment of Heaven with earth. Relationships are aligned with Heaven’s structure (government), bodies are healed resulting in alignment with God’s original intent and will for wholeness, etc. !When
! !
the right ways of God are established, leading to alignment with God’s will, the result is joy.
4.The Kingdom of God is joy.
!
!Joy
is one of the primary characteristics of the Kingdom of
God.

•Acts 8:8
When the Kingdom of God was demonstrated in a city in Samaria, “There was joy in the city.”
!
Definition: Joy is gladness and delight, manifested in happiness and laughter.
!
•Psalm 2:4
!
“He who is enthroned in the heavens laughs.”
•Luke 6:21
!
“Hugely happy (makarizo) are those who weep now (before the Kingdom of God comes) for they will laugh (when the Kingdom of God comes).”
•Isaiah 61:3,7
Jesus was sent to give us the “oil of gladness” and “everlasting joy.”
!
•Luke 2:10
!
In announcing the birth of Jesus, the angel proclaims, “I bring you good news of great joy.”
!
!The
Good News is that we get to be happy.
Teacher’s Note: • When the Kingdom of God is released in the right ways of God manifested in signs, wonders, miracles, healings, prophetic insights and acts of service, people become aligned with Heaven’s purposes, resulting in a life of joy, happiness, gladness, and laughter.
! •Psalm 16:11 “In your presence is fullness of joy (NASB).” !
! 5.The Kingdom of God is in the Holy Spirit. ! The Holy Spirit is the presence of God on the earth. ! !
!We
! !
can also say that the presence of God is the Kingdom of
God.

! ! !
Teacher’s Note: • When we say we want more of the presence of God it is to say that we want more of the Holy Spirit. To say that we want more of the Holy Spirit, it is to say that we want more of the Kingdom of God. !The
!
King/dom of God is more than a place (a domain) – it is His reign (dominion). !Wherever
His presence is – His reign is – His rulership is – His Lordship is – His Kingdom is.
!
!We
! ! !
!
!
need more of His presence in and through our lives to bring about His right ways to establish and increase alignment between Heaven and earth in every way, so that everyone is living in the joy of the Lord.
