Realizado como PFC de Arquitectura Técnica por la Universidad de Salamanca. Este proyecto se empezará a llevar a cabo a mediados de 2015. Para la creación de este proyecto se contó con la inestimable ayuda del famoso arquitecto zamorano Francisco Somoza. El objetivo de este proyecto fue la conservación del conjunto de los elementos estructurales y revestimientos, sustituyendo solo los que alteran el carácter original, la reestructuración de los espacios interiores redistribuyendo las tres plantas para su conversión en un establecimiento hostelero con denominación y características de Posada.
It was made as Final University Project for Arquitectural Technique from the University of Salamanca. This project will be built in 2015. For the creation of this project I had the invaluable help of the famous architect Francisco Somoza. The objective of this project was the conservation of all structural elements and facings, replacing only those elements that alter the original character, restructuring the interior spaces, redistributing the three floors for the transformation into an inn.

Realizado como PFM de Arquitectura y Diseño de interiores. Todo el edificio es diseñado en base al Concepto de las Cintas de Colores. Se ha proyectado un local abierto, es decir sin tabiques que lo separen para crear un punto de referencia lejano y hacer creer que el espacio es mas grande aún. Esta sensación de amplitud es aumentada gracias a las cintas de colores del techo que invaden el espacio de profundidad en las distancias horizontales. Al ser un espacio tan abierto, el cliente pod´´ia sentirse un poco incómodo a la hora de tomar su consumición en él. Por eso se han incluido unos cubículos perimetráles que a su vez incluyen ventanales al exterior para iluminar mejor el ambiente. Es importante destacar uno de los elementos mas controvertidos del proyecto, el acceso a los aseos. Se proyectó un acceso abierto mediante un vestíbulo circular que contiene los lavabos y las puertas de acceso a los diferentes aseos. Los tabiques que separan los lavabos del resto del local son cintas de tabiques de yeso laminado entrelazadas. Siguiendo con la misma imágen corporativa, cada sala de karaoke estará identificada por uno de los tres colores que representan la empresa. It was made as Final Master Project of Architecture and Interior Design. The whole building is designed based on the concept of the colored ribbons. It has projected an open store, that is without partitions that divide it to create a distant landmark and make people believe that space is even larger. This feeling of spaciousness is increased by colored ribbons on the roof encroaching on depth in the horizontal distances. Being as open space, the client might feel uncomfortable while is taking a drink in it. So that´s why it has been included some perimeter cubicles which, in turn, include exterior windows for a better illumination of the environment. It is important to remark one of the most controversial elements of the project, the access to toilets. Open access was designed using a circular lobby that includes the washbasins and doors to different toilets. The partitions that separate the toilets from the local are ribbons made of plasterboard partitions interlaced. Following the same corporate image, each karaoke room will be identified by one of three colors that represent the company.

Exposición ganadora del concurso “Una exposición sobre la Universidad de Salamanca”. Basada en el mundo de los sueños, de ahí que todo esté colgado, como si no existiera gravedad. Trataba de contar como un cuento, el misterio de los 7 relieves del claustro de la Universidad de Salamanca en el que el protagonista es el emperador Carlos V de pequeño. En los sueños no hay un color específico por lo que se proyectó una exposición con siluetas en blanco y negro. Una exposición atractiva a todo tipo de público.

Winner exhibition of the competition “An exhibition about the University of Salamanca”. Based on the world of dreams, therefore everything is hunging, as if gravity does not exist. It tried to tell as a story the mystery of the 7 relieves from the cloisters of the University of Salamanca. The protagonist is a young Emperor Charles V. In dreams there is no specific color so the exhibition was designed with silhouettes in black and white. An attractive exhibition for all ages.

Ambiente rústico. Diseño regido por la intención de dar importancia a los cuadros del propietario. Quería un espacio donde reunir a toda la familia a la vez que pudiera convertirse en un área de descanso. Aprovechando la vena artística del propietario, el diseño de la estancia se centró en resaltar un cuadro del skyline de la ciudad pintado directamente sobre la pared. Rustic atmosphere. Design governed by the intention to give importance to the pictures painted by the owner. I wanted a place to gather the whole family at the same time and even could become a restroom. Taking advantage of the owner’s artistic flair, the design of the room focused on highlighting a picture of the skyline of the city painted directly on the wall.

Proyecto consistente en diseñar el interior de dos viviendas unifamiliares pareadas de muros prefabricados de hormigón armado. El propietario quería un diseño innovador y moderno, pero sobre todo que gustara a todo tipo de usuario. Todo el interior fue basado en la concepción tricolor. Blanco provocando sensación de amplitud y limpieza, creando un espacio de relajación y tranquilidad en toda la vivienda. Negro para mantener la perspectiva del espacio sin perder la vista en la infinidad del blanco; y Rojo para crear expectación al usuario, causando curiosidad y resaltando pequeños detalles y mobiliario. También se jugó con las formas de los objetos, utilizando elementos rectos en el plano medio y bajo para crear inmobilidad en el mobiliario, y elementos curvos en el plano del techo consiguiendo aumentar la altura y provocando volatilidad y movimiento. Project that consisted in designing the interior of two semidetached houses made of precast reinforced concrete walls. The owner wanted an innovative and modern design, but mostly it liked every type of user. All inside was based on the tricolor concept. White to cause a feeling of spaciousness and cleanliness, creating a space of relaxation and peace in the house. Black to maintain the perspective of space without losing sight in the infinity of white; and red to create interest to the user, causing curiosity and highlighting small details and furniture. We also played with the shapes of objects, using straight elements in the low and mid plane to create immobility in the furniture, and curved elements in the ceiling plane getting increase the ceiling height and causing movement and volatility.

Malta, conocida como la isla del Mediterráneo con las mejores puestas de sol, merecía un protagonismo especial en el diseño de las estancias de los apartamentos turísticos sitos en la misma. Buscando inspiración en la gama de colores que toma el sol a lo largo del día, y teniendo en cuenta los pocos huecos al exterior, se eligieron tonos que llenaran de luz el interior de los apartamentos.
Malta, known as the Mediterranean island with the best sunsets. It deserved a special role in the design of the rooms of the tourist apartments located in this island. Looking for inspiration in the palette taken by the sun throughout the day, and considering the few windows, this tones were chosen to fill the interior of the apartments with light.

Proyecto encargado para crear espacios del proyecto original, debido a la falta de información fotográfica de esas zonas específicas de la vivienda. Tanto la sala de estar, como el acceso al garaje y el cuarto de baño fueron diseñadas para que las personas fluyeran entre el mobiliario sin que este supusiera un obstáculo. Mobilidad, confort, modernidad y un pequeño toque étnico para contrastar con el estilo nórdico, son las características principales de estos espacios. Project requested to create spaces from the original project due to lack of photographic information of these specific areas of the home. The living room, the access to the garage and the bathroom were designed for people to flow between furniture without this being an obstacle. Mobility, comfort, modernity and a small ethnic touch to contrast with the Nordic style, are the main features of these spaces.

En el jardín se usó el concepto de la Familia. Se buscó un espacio ideal para juntar a personas de diferentes edades, mezclando los muebles modernos con elementos infantiles con muchos colores. Una zona donde realizar diferentes actividades en familia. Los elementos vegetales y los cojines eliminan la rigidez de los muebles. En un ámbito familiar, las personas comparten todo tipo de momentos y experiencias. Las actividades que realiza una familia se ven influenciadas por la complicidad, que al mismo tiempo genera vínculos de confianza y comprensión; sin olvidarnos nunca de los momentos de diversión y aprendizaje que afianzan los lazos de unión de la familia. Basándonos en que la sensación “familiar” debe aplicarse a un ámbito, los valores mencionados anteriormente han de materializarse. Los espacios tienen que estar unidos y relacionados entre sí; zonas en las que se mezclan actividades de conversación y diversión que afianzan esos vínculos de complicidad, y otras zonas en las que se mezclen el aprendizaje y el contacto con la naturaleza. Sin olvidar que todas estas zonas han de estar armonizadas tanto en color, forma, material y textura, para llegar al punto de integración que nos genere un confort de carácter emocional y funcional. In the garden it was used the concept of the family. An ideal place to gather people of different ages, mixing modern furniture with child items with many colors. An area to do different activities as a family. The vegetable elements and cushions eliminate the rigidity of the furniture. In a family atmosphere, people share all kinds of moments and experiences. The activities of a family are influenced by the complicity, at the same time it creates bonds of trust and understanding; we can’t forget the moments of fun and learning that consolidate the family ties. Keeping in mind that the “family” feeling should be applied to a space, all those values must be materialized. The spaces have to be connected and interrelated; areas where conversation and fun activities are mixed to secure those ties of complicity, and other areas to mix learning and contact with nature. Without forgetting that all these areas should be harmonized in color, shape, material and texture, to reach the point of integration that generates comfort of emotional and functional nature.

El concepto elegido para el exterior del edificio es el Laberinto de las Puertas Rojas de Kyoto (Japón). El uso previsto para este espacio exterior era de transición. Se tuvo en cuenta que era una zona de mucho movimiento a pie de la gente del barrio. Hay una intención de llamar la atención y de hacer más agradable el tránsito por la acera. Los marcos de madera como elementos repetitivos servirán para dar sombra en días muy soleados. Se ha buscado un resultado impactante que haga que los transeúntes quieran cruzar de acera y pasar por el pasillo. Jugar con las sombras era otro de los objetivos que se tenía en este proyecto. Los diferentes marcos crearán formas en el suelo además de hacer del paseo una sensación apacible. The concept chosen for the exterior of the building is the Labyrinth of Red Doors in Kyoto (Japan). The expected use of outside space was fot transition. There was born in mind that it was a zone where the people of the neighbourhood used to walk a lot. There is an intention to attract attention and make transit more pleasant across the sidewalk. Wooden frames as repetitive elements serve to provide shades on very sunny days. There has been looked for a shocking result that makes pedestrians want to cross the sidewalk and go through the hallway. Playing with shadows was another objective in this project. The different frames create forms on the ground besides making the walk a peaceful feeling.

Nicaragua, un país asolado por catástrofes espantosas pero que aun así sobrevive y vive profundamente cada día. Este proyecto organizado por la ONG Habitar trataba de dar una nueva imagen a barrios marginales de Managua, mediante la construcción de viviendas modulares de bloques de hormigón estudiadas para resistir a sismos y la urbanización de las zonas exteriores. creando zonas de aparcamiento, jardines, parques y zonas deportivas. Todo el proyecto giró alrededor del concepto de cómo el corazón (vida) late dentro de las sombras y luces (viviendas y exteriores). Siempre se pretendió un aspecto de velocidad en las zonas de tránsito y un momento de tranquilidad en las zonas de relax. Fueron tres barrios en especial, Olof Palme, Grenada y Enrique Smith. Todo aquello que se proyectó fue votado en asamblea con los habitantes de la zona ya que ellos eran la parte mas importante y alrededor de los cuales giraba todo el proyecto Nicaragua, a country devastated by terrible catastrophes but still surviving and living deeply every day. This project organized by the NGO Habitar tried to give a new look to slums of Managua, by building modular concrete block homes studied to resist earthquake and urbanization of exterior zones, creating parking areas, gardens, parks and sports facilities. The whole project turned around the concept of how the heart (life) beat into the shadows and lights (houses and outdoor). It was always expected an aspect of speed in crossing areas and a quiet moment in relaxation areas. There were specially three areas, Olof Palme, Grenada and Henry Smith. Everything that was planned was voted in assembly with the locals considering that they were the most important part and around which the project revolved.

Escaparate realizado para el concurso de escaparates de primavera “EL FESTIVAL DE LAS FLORES”. Siendo una tienda donde la ropa destacaba por su colorido, estampados y formas, se quiso transmitir un concepto sin colores llamativos, donde lo único que llamara la atención fuera los vestidos y accesorios. El hecho de ser una tienda femenina donde siempre se busca la belleza, se optó por incluir actrices tanto actuales como del pasado y enmarcarlas sobre un fondo en blanco y negro. Shop window made for spring shop windows competition “THE FESTIVAL OF FLOWERS”. It is a shop where clothes stood out because of its colors, patterns and forms, I wanted to instill a concept without flashy colors, where the only thing that would attract attention were dresses and accessories. By being a female shop where always it looks for beauty, we chose to include current and past actresses and frame them on a background in black and white.
