Re: Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy | Sponsorship & Marketing Program Dear Service & Products Provider: My name is Jorge E Molina, founder and Executive Director of the Puerto Rico Energy Efficiency Alliance (PR-EESA), a diverse and innovative non-governmental organization promoting strategic alliances to educating and promote Renewable Energy Solutions, Energy Efficiency, & Sustainability within our region. Since 2015, PR-EESA has been working with leading organizations across the region in an effort to increasing awareness and investments in energy efficiency and renewable energy, while reducing energy bills and avoiding the release of carbon and other pollutants to our atmosphere. “La Batalla de los Edificios - Puerto Rico” is the Alliance primary educational and recognition program promoting Energy Efficiency & Sustainability in commercial buildings within our region. The program was launched in 2015 as as a voluntary and free of charge competition where industry leaders compete against each other to see who reduces the consumption of energy, water, and gas in their commercial buildings the most. The program also offers recognition under special categories such as incentives, education, among others. PR-EESA has committed to providing technical assistance, useful information, and tools to organizations and consumers in search for Energy-Efficient solutions and best management practices for their properties. Over the last three years, the program has more than tripled in scope, influence, and impact. The initiative seeks to transforming our energy efficiency and renewable energy marketplace by targeting and eliminating the barriers that prevent many organizations and consumers from capturing the benefits of energy efficiency and renewables. During “La Batalla's - 2016 Edition”, 10 registered participants reported close to $500,000 in savings, which translates to approximately $2,000,000 invested in energy efficiency and more that 50 direct and indirect jobs. In an effort to strengthening and expanding our primary initiative, along with developing new programs for our buildings and energy sectors, PR-EESA is seeking to forming partnerships with today's business leaders to continuously improve the efficiency of businesses and buildings within our region.
