blog note Photography offers one exciting opportunity: to mix art with documents. Like the images from an abandoned village shown this time in photoD. The photos serve two purposes: they’re documents of a moment in the timeline of the place, but also the starting point for artistic exploration. For this activity I asked participants to choose a final collection of images from the day and also to pick one photograph and explore it in Black & White, using different filters. The place visited works well in B&W, so it made complete sense to use it on the images of the day. We departed from colourful photographs to the richeness of multiple grays, the home work servind as the final part of the lessons learned during the day, along with the History and legend of the ghosttown visited. For the flower photography activity I tried to share with participants my own way of photographing flowers. It helped them to discover new perspectives shown at the collective portfolio published now. Enjoy!
